We are often asked "when is it too hot to walk my dog?"...this differs from dog to dog, depending on breed, size, coat, weight and general health. This article in the Nottingham Post gives some really sound advice, and is definitely worth a read.

Take care of your pets in this heat, especially when walking, as they release heat through their paws, nose and panting....therefore if walking on hot ground, this is likely increase the chance of heat stroke.
