Over the past 24 hours, we have confirmed an additional 11 Covid-19 positive patients, our largest rise within this time frame for some time. This means that we have 51 such patients at Doncaster Royal Infirmary and five at Bassetlaw Hospital, bringing our total to 56 overall, with five requiring intensive care. In slightly better news, we have safely discharged one individual today and we wish them the very best with their ongoing recovery.

Covid-19 is still very much circulating within our communities so please take care to shield the vulnerable amongst us and remember hands, face and space. The majority of those in our care who are positive for the illness are over 70, so it is really important that we continue to look out for one another and support those most at risk.
