Animals have always been my passion and now i've been fortunate enough to turn it into a career. Educated to Degree (Hons) level and have my City & Guild in Dog Grooming where i have achieved qualifications in:
Practical & Theory
Salon Management
Canine Health & Safety and First Aid. Sue's Paws is situated in my own home salon. Our priority is that your dog is cared for and treated in the same lov

ing manner as i do our own dogs. We do not rush our dogs,if your dog is nervous or a puppy then extra time will be allocated, to help them build a trust with us. Toilet and water breaks are offered. SERVICES

If your dog is badly matted you may be asked to sign a consent form to allow me to close clip the coat off, as this would be the humane thing to do. A matted shave off will have an additional charge at the groomers discretion which will depend on the severity of the coat. Dogs with fleas will be charged an additional £5 to cover the cost of treating the salon. Cancellations require 24 hours notice or you will be charged the full amount of the appointment.

I'd like to start this year with a bit of clarity! Last year I had a few late cancellations which I can't always fill & it puts me out of pocket and stops others getting placed. I do have a waiting list but most people work and can't come at short notice. SO I will send out my T & Cs individually or look on my website. I shall be charging a FULL groom price for cancellations of less than 24 hours. I'm so very sorry but this does impact on my small business and I want to carry on grooming our precious companions for as long as possible. Thank you xx

This is beautiful Monty who has never liked the grooming process but had gotten better over the 9 years I've done him. Unfortunately, recently he's using avoidance tactics so I think it's safe to say it could be pain related or anticipation for pain if he's uncomfortable. The hammock is the way forward, he's not a great fan but he is getting better. Patience is the key. But he's adorable x

As some of you know 2 of my soul mates have Cancer. Alfie has liver cancer spreading to his spleen and Ruby has Lymphoma. They are of a good age 15 and a half years old but it makes it no less heartbreaking. Please check your dogs lymph glands for early signs. And give your dogs lots of love as you never know if this is their last day by your side. Xx

My mini labradoodle is recovering from Vestibular, so i like to keep an eye on him so he resides next to me in the salon for a while. But a couple of weeks on and he can get up the garden steps to sniff out treats on the grass. Check out how he leans near the wall. Clever dog❤
