The lovely Barni ☺️🐾 Barni had stem cell injections 3 months ago and we’re happy to say it’s been a success. 💚🐾

Stem cells are the basic building blocks of your body. They can turn into any cell the body requires and so they are brilliant for repairing damage.
What we do is take a special culture of stem cells and inject them into a damaged joint, the cells respond to the chemicals released by damaged tissue and this causes them to change their structure so that they become replacement cells for the damaged ones. This enables them to repair the damage and return the joint to normal function.

These injections can repair the joint and help avoid the need for joint replacement surgery which is more expensive and has a longer recovery period.
Stem cell injections can be used at all stages of joint disease as part of a tailored arthritis and pain management plan we develop with each individual client to ensure their pet is as comfortable as possible and enjoys the best quality of life for as long as possible. 💚🐾

We are based in a peaceful, tranquil location which is away from the hustle and bustle of busy streets. People have said that they’ve noticed their pets are considerably less anxious at Newgrange than they have been at previous vet practices. We put this down to the our wonderful welcoming staff, the cosy atmosphere of the practice itself and the beautiful fields surrounding Newgrange. If you’d like to pop by for a visit you’re always welcome.🐾💚

We have heard through the grape vine that some practices are unwilling to treat breeds such as the American Bully, particularly XLs. This alongside the news of a possible future ban weighs heavy on our hearts.This is something we do not agree with and we love all breeds and animals! We at Newgrange Vets will never turn them away! We love all our furry friends. We stand by them, we respect them and we will always provide them with the best possible care! 🐾

One of our wonderful ACA’s has taken on a beautiful 8month old Belgium Malinois called Max! He is a rescue and came in for his first socialisation visit today, we were able to spend time with him and have him meet the staff in a calm,relaxing, friendly environment so he’s not too overwhelmed when it’s time for his vaccinations! This is something we are happy to do with all animals that are a little nervous and need that extra time. 🐶🐱🐰🦜
