We've been a little quiet on social media lately, but lots has been happening! Last week, Jane was invited to speak at an event tailored to Dachshund owners on IVDD (a health issue which Dachshunds are sadly prone to, and which can cause paralysis); Scarlett has been working on the introduction of laser clinics for our physio clients, Duncan has been prepping for some upcoming vet visits and Helene has been to London to attend an alumni event for a business group she is part of... any fans of The Crown? She was at Lancaster House which was used as the setting for Buckingham Palace!!

We love being part of Alan's adventures, but what we really want to know is what Alan bought at the shops and posted at the post office...maybe he sent a valentine's card (a little eager some might say, but post is a little slow these days)! Floki visited today, He was a little nervous, but absolutely smashed his first swim... and he left feeling like a dinosaur! Our puppy confidence sessions allow your dog to build their confidence around water, exercise in a safe environment and learn an invaluable life skill.

We were delighted to have Castle Vets on site today, so we could show them first hand how we use hydrotherapy and physiotherapy to facilitate recovery, and assist dogs dealing with long term conditions, like arthritis. And, Stan and George were model dogs, even with the pressures of an audience! 🐾

Last week, North Park Veterinary Group visited us to find out how we use our pool (which is the largest in Devon and Cornwall), and our underwater treadmill, to support dogs suffering from conditions such as osteoarthritis, lameness or hip/elbow dysplasia. It was great to have so many of their team on-site!

Last Thursday our small animal team went to The Retreat, Canine Hydrotherapy and Rehabilitation to have a look around and discuss the benefits of hydro and physiotherapy🐶🐱
Our nurses dog Minnie is used to going in their treadmill so she showed everyone how it was done🐾
Our vets and nurses can recommend hydro or physiotherapy, but only our vets can refer you to go to a centre. There are many benefits to it for all ages so if you’re interested, please get in touch with us. 📞
