💚 VERY IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT! 💚

Hi everyone!!

Just giving you the heads-up that I have revised a new pricing structure, for the same reasons that everybody else is revising their pricing structure – a new financial/tax year coming up and the rising cost of living. I have thought long and hard about this, as I know that my regulars like the current pricing structure as much as I enjoy spending quality time with your dogs. But I guess we are all in the same boat these days.

So a new pricing structure will apply at the end of this week, and inevitably, for many clients, there will be a slight increase. I have worked hard on the pricing structure to ensure that it still offers great value for money, convenience for you, and high-quality care for your dogs.

The prices you see below are SINGLE walks, as stated. So bear in mind you will more than likely have a discount applied when booking more than one. I am also working on new packages and deals which will enable you to choose the best deal – at the best value – for you and your dog. Spending time with your dogs is the best part of my life, and I look forward to doing that for a long time to come.

!!NOTICE!!

Just another notice for those it applies to.

This Friday (8th December) I will not be working. I am attending the funeral. So I won’t be replying to messages etc as I want the whole day to myself, as I’m sure you can understand.

I’ll also message separately those this applies to. Thanks for your understanding and patience.

After the funeral on Friday, work will begin to pick back up properly, reliability and time keeping will improve and I’ll be taking much less time off work. Again, thank you so so much for all your patience and kind words. I couldn’t ask for more. You’ve been amazing with me. And it’s appreciated massively. This will all be accounted for in future walks and favours. If you need anything from me just ask 🐶💚🌿

Good afternoon everyone, I would just like to say thank you all for bearing with me since last Friday. For understanding why I wasn’t working, and being kind.

I have been dealing with the loss of someone close to me, and work wasn’t at the forefront of my mind.

I just wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone, right now is hard, it’s wet, cold and dark. I always persevere and am unbothered by it.

I don’t usually write posts like this, but it should be talked about by absolutely everyone! - I have not been feeling the best the last couple of weeks and the dogs are really what’s kept me going. However, today, of all days, I was stressed and behind on time, (overly emotional) but each and every one of you sent me a message that made me cry. In a good way. I feel so appreciated and realise even more why I do this job. So thank you guys for having my back and pushing me to do my best, but also accepting the lows that come with the highs 🌧🐶

WINTER UPDATE 🥶

Please have a read, and let me know if you need anything.

🌧 First and foremost, when your dogs have been out with me, it is inevitable that they will be wet and/or muddy, so if you have one available, please leave me a towel dedicated to the dog and let me know where I can access it.

🌧 If you don’t have a “dog towel” or one you want to get dirty, let me know ASAP and I’m more than happy to provide you with one, that is yours to keep (for a very small fee).

🌧 If you have hard floors, it may also help me to know where you keep your mop, just in case there’s mud on the floor, I’m more than happy to clean up after myself.

🌧 The same applies for carpet, if there are a couple of paw prints, please let me know if you have carpet spray and a cloth. Again more than happy to tidy up after myself.

🌧 Please bear with me on my timings, as stated below, I always try my best. And I will be sending updates on any major changes that occur.

🌧 If you feel your dog needs a jacket, please let me know where you keep it so I can ensure your pooch is comfortable.

🌧 Lastly, (and maybe most importantly), I do not care about the weather, and I mean that. If I get wet, so be it. This is my favourite thing in the whole world. I love my job and I love dogs. If your dog doesn’t like the rain then we can stay inside. But please know that I will walk them wherever possible.

Me and the dogs got absolutely drenched yesterday 🥴🤣 wet through!

When it’s bad rain please bear with me a bit as I spend a few minutes wiping the dogs down etc after a walk. This may add a bit of extra time to my whole day, but it’s in the best interest of the pups and your walls when they shake 🤣

Zion was superb yesterday with a new route and change of scenery, but it gave her a chance to not have to react to anything as it was empty!

Morning everyone, I think Narla sums up how winter is feeling already. Especially now we are going to suffer with darker mornings and nights.

If people could keep there eyes peeled for a black and red dog treat pouch that would be great as I seem to have misplaced mine! Which means today is going to cause problems for good boys and girls as I don’t have my pouch!

Dolly is usually on lead, we are still working on her recall, however, when I have access to an enclosed space I give her some time to run wild and sniff around.

Frank already had a walker (Amy A & M Petcare and Equine Services) but his owners moved to an area I cover more frequently so Frank was passed over to me, which is amazing. You will have seen photos of Frank playing with Max on my page before so he’s a dog I did already know a little about!

Did you know, one of the signs for a dog being too hot, is to look at the tongue.

A panting dog (dependant on situation) is normal. This is how they cool down.

Secondly dogs get something called “shovel tongue” which is where the tip expands and looks like a spoon in the mouth. This is okay, if it’s warm. But the tongue must be central in the mouth. Like Zion below.

When the shovel tongue tilts to the side and the dog cannot keep it in the middle (due to it being too heavy with blood) you need to help the dog, cool but not freezing water (to drink and in between the back legs), shade and allow the dog to rest. This is not foolproof, but it’s what I know works in minor overheating. But you are at massive risk of heat stroke if you take the dog when it’s too hot. Please be careful ❤️‍🔥

HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY to my BUSINESS!!

1 year today! Wow, it has flown by! It was today I started my insurance and took my first bookings 🥹🤭 I have made so many good friends along the way. You have all kept me going and the dogs have basically taken over my life 🤣 in a good way 💚

I wouldn’t change any of it for the world, it’s been a process, a learning journey, but a road worth taking. Being my own boss has taught me so many lessons 🐶🙌🏼

Hoping this next year is just as good (if not better) than the last 🙌🏼

First up is a little explanation about my lack of posts.

My business Facebook was having a few issues, logging me out etc not allowing me to post so I had to delete it and sort of start over. That should now be fixed 🤞🏻

On top of that small problem, I’ve had many HUGE life events (for me) happening and they took priority. I have now moved into my own home, received a car from my very kind other half, taken on a puppy for ourselves, been working my business but also doing things behind the scenes, gaining new clients, doing extra work and general life 🤣. It has been manic, so many good things all in a very short space of time.

Hopefully things will be a bit calmer from here on out 💚💚
