Hi, I'm Sara, at having had and looked after an abundance of animals over the years i decided back in 2014 that i would love to be in the Industry that cares and looks after animals. Aquiring a Beagle back in December 2013 helped make up my mind,and so with much agusto Porthos&Pals was born and i have never looked back. I have plenty of experience in pet care and boarding, doggie day care, sitting

and walking dogs of all breeds and sizes. I have regular clients who will travel far and wide for their pets to stay with me, even at short notice/in emergencies. About Porthos - He is a gentle, fun loving, 8 and a bit year old Beagle and he loves to make friends. He is very playful and adores being in the company of new four legged friends

At Porthos & Pals, we value the love and care that should be given to animals, especially when you have to go away or are away at work for most of the day. We know it can be worrying or daunting when this happens (especially if you are considering leaving your beloved pet in kennels/catteries), so please be assured that your pet will always stay with us and cared for as if they are our very own. We can give you reassurance and peace of mind by offering a reliable service you can trust and count on time and time again. We will be at home during the day and in the evenings. We will follow your instructions regarding your pet’s usual routine; just tell us how many walks your dog has a day, what time they have their meals (including the administering of any medication if needed), where they like to sleep and their whole routine is kept the same. Your dog will wear a special Porthos & Pals Dog Tag during their stay with us, so you can be rest assured that while you on holiday etc, your dog will be having lots of fun too.

Hi Doggie fans
I love my job and all my four legged buddies
But just lately I have had a lot of juggling in my life and as selfish as it might sound I’m feeling a bit deflated , I appreciate every single one of you trusting me with your dogs

This old gentleman made a pram for his paralyzed dog himself. As he said, he takes him for walks so that the dog feels that despite his complete paralysis, "he can still see the world and he is still part of it“.

Hi all
A couple of weeks ago Kujo Chris’s Dog needed to be re homed
For those not up to date with this heartbreaking story
Chris loved Kujo soooooo much , but passed away last August
The Community of Failsworth came together and he was re homed locally Sept 2022 to a loving , giving family
Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances
Kujo needed to be re homed Aug 2023
But boy this dog well n truly fall on his paws
