Blue sky!!! There was blue sky on todays walk…. What a lovely change it made. Can’t wait for it to be a regular feature on our walks. Tilly and Harold certainly made the most of it.

I didn’t manage to take any pictures of the dogs on todays walk… why?…. Because I had a co-worker with me 😁 A very cute and talkative Co-worker but it meant my eyes never stopped counting/watching dogs AND the lesser spotted Jessica 🐾🥰🐾 Have a great weekend everyone! X

Some VERY important information here. Please take note & make sure your dog has a tag with all the necessary information on. X

In the UK, the Control of Dogs Order 1992 states that any dog in a public place must wear a collar with the name and address (including postcode) of the owner engraved or written on it, or engraved on a tag. Your telephone number is optional (but we would recommend this).

You do not have to put your dogs name on the tag, this is optional. Unfortunately dog theft is a real danger and if the thief knows the name of your dog this may help them pass on the dog to the unsuspecting new owners because it appears they know the dog because the dog responds to their name. We would therefore recommend, you do not put your dogs name on the tag.

An example of the information to put on a dog tag is:

OR

Certain dogs are exempt from having to wear a collar with a dog tag. They are:

• Any dog registered with the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association.
• Any dog while being used in emergency rescue work.
• Any dog while being used on official duties by a member of Her Majesty's Armed Forces, HM Customs and Excise or the police.
• Any dog while being used for driving or tending cattle or sheep.
• Any dog while being used for the capture or destruction of vermin.
• Any dog while being used for sporting purposes.

No-one wanted to keep their ankles this afternoon did they? 😆 Bobby has taken out SO many ankles/legs with this during the walk so far that even the other dogs are moving out of his way when they hear him coming 🏃🏼‍♀️🐕🐾

I’ve been taking so many pictures during my walks recently and have just realised I haven’t shared any with everyone 😆😁 so here’s one from today. How cute is little Bailey? Just a couple of minutes into todays walk and his face was already splattered. It wasn’t long until his body caught up either 🙈

What does your office look like today? This was mine this morning before the heat took hold. Please be careful with your fur babies while we’re having this warm weather… a dog won’t die from not being walked, but it can from heat stroke so keep an eye them while it’s warm. Kerry & Cocoa x

This is so cute so I had to share…. This lovely little dog was trying to make friends with Cocoa yesterday. He even was showing her how he rolls to try and impress her 😆🐾🥰

Yesterday myself and Luke went to help a friend remove a swarm of honeybees from inside a roof and….. you guessed it…. We made friends with a floof! This gorgeous little girl was SO friendly and cuddly & put the cherry on top of a lovely evening. I really do find lovely dogs everywhere I go! 🥰 🐝🐾

It’s with a massively heavy heart that I’m sharing the news that my wonderful friend, 15year old Ruby has crossed over the rainbow bridge this morning. She was like a second dog to us here in the Ibbotson household, she loved to mooch in cupboards or the shopping for food she could trot away with or toys she could play with, her only nemesis was Tom (our cat). Take care little friend. Love, Us ###
