❗️❗️Unfortunately the salon will be closed tomorrow due to illness ❗️❗️

💙📣Important Announcement.📣💙

Hi everyone, we thought it was time to share some big news with you. After 12 years of running The Dog and Groom Liz has made the decision to retire at the end of the year!

What started off as a dream many years ago became reality after 2 years of training at night school whilst still working full time, in the summer of 2012 The Dog and Groom was born.

There's been some extremely difficult times during these 12 years including Liz's cancer diagnosis and of course lockdown! But there's been some real highlights, mainly getting to see Liz back doing what she loves after her surgery whilst also under going her chemo treatment. Celebrating the shops 10 year anniversary and also the various charity days and santa paws events we held over the years.

The Dog and Groom wouldn't be what it is without you our amazing fluffy tail wagging customers.... and your owners too! So thank you for putting your trust in us for the last 12 years.

We also wouldn't be where we are without our wonderful team: Linda, Lydia and Niamh, and not forgetting the fabulous Dee & Gracey who we miss so much.
Shout out also to Chalk Bee too for her amazing window displays too!

We are currently in the process of going through a few enquiries as to who we will be passing the clippers on to. But we'll keep you updated on that closer to the time.

Liz's last day will be Saturday 21st December. 💙

Afternoon everyone.

Those of you who should have been in the salon yesterday will already be aware that we had to close this weekend. Unfortunately and rather out of the blue Liz had to have some minor surgery on Saturday. The good news is she is back home and recovering well, the bad news is the salon may have to stay closed a little longer while she recovers.

It's early days, so we will see how things are tomorrow and let you know if we do have to cancel any appointments. Obviously this is the last thing we want to do, especially after everything that happened back in 2020. But health will always comes first.
