PARVO ALERT!!!!

There is currently an outbreak of Parvovirus in dogs in the Oswestry area. We currently have confirmed cases in hospital.
Parvo is a horrible virus that normally causes bloody diarrhoea (although not always bloody), vomiting, anorexia, temperature fluctuation and lethargy. All symptoms do not have to be present - your pet may show one or many.

This virus is very serious and can be fatal with the best chances depending on immediate treatment. Direct contact with another dog is not necessary since the virus can live in the environment for a substantial amount of time, and can also be transmitted by foxes.

Normally the dogs most at risk are those that are unvaccinated, especially puppies even if they are in the middle of a vaccine course. We would recommend that all dogs are fully vaccinated as this can reduce the severity of the disease.
If your pets are not up to date with their vaccines we would recommended that they have a booster or restart the vaccination course as soon as possible.

Certificates of Birth are a lovely addition to add to your puppy packs.
Printed on excellent quality paper, these can either be left blank for you to fill in by hand or can be typed out during printing.
This is an example of a Boxer litter certificate but they can be customised for any breed 🐕‍🦺

The puppies are being raised in an active family household with 3 cats and an older dog, therefore are being well socialised.

Loved reuniting with Finn today for his Microchipping and meeting his beautiful canine sister. I met Finn as a stray at the vets whilst I was on work experience. It was so lovely to see him so happy and settled in his forever home and full of fun and cheekiness 🥰🥰🥰🥰

As part of the Microchipping service I return a few days later to rescan your pets to check the microchip is in the correct position.
