Wenden with regards to dog and American family. The dog is back at vets today and may get to fly friday. Watch this space. But if all checks out , it will go on a chartered flight with a companion. Not in the hold area. These flights are very expensive and one way.
Hopefully he will get to go home with them.x

Thankyou to all for your responses. I am waiting for more details and they are making calls to to try to sort it out.
We have a few people now that have offered to take him in so if necessary we now have that option.
Urgent callout.
A local family are moving back to USA. They have an 14yr dog lab x that was cleared for flying by the vets here in oundle, they collected him this morning got him to Heathrow Airport today and the airline are refusing to take him.
He needs a home or will have to be PTS by Saturday.
I'm on my 7-8am walk and it is very hot already. We will not be doing lunchtime walks today but will be bringing them forward or later when it is not so hot. Or if it needs to be lunchtime we will play with them in the garden so can keep going inside when necessary. Thanks.
Today has been the hardest day for us since starting Wenden's Waggy Tails. Fletcher had not been well for a while, his human daddy is in USA and unfortunately had to make the hardest decision of his life. As he could not be with Fletcher we took him to pass peacefully and be pain free. Fly high Fletcher, cross over to the 🌈 bridge. You were and still are loved so much, you fought right to the end, such a brave boy.xx 😭😭

Im staying with lots of animals this week. Poppet and Missy the dogs. 4 ferrets, egyptian voles, mice with new born babies, tiny field mice, other mice species and chinchillas.

I would like to introduce Ivy, our newest waggy tail, and a very tiny one at that.
From 24th June 2024 it is compulsory to have all cats over 20 weeks microchipped.
Many associations are doing free or cheaper microchipping prior to this date to ensure everyone can have their cat chipped.

We are getting very fully booked now for walks and sits this year already. I only have a few spaces available but Kira has some slots if anyone is looking for walks.
We are not able to take any single walks Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
Monday 10.45am 1hr walk. 12pm 1hr walk with Nellie( one of our regulars). 1.15pm 1/2 hour walk.
Tuesday 10.45am 1hr walk. 2.45pm 1hr walk.
Wednesday 12pm 1hr walk with Bessie, Nellie and Otto. (2 insured walkers)
Thursday. 12.45pm 1hr walk. 2.45pm 1hr walk.
Friday 10.45am 1hr walk. 1.15pm 1hr walk.
For dog/house sits we are fully booked for March. April very limited availability. We do have a lot booked so dates are going fast.

We have now been going a year. Here is our new insurance policy starting 7th February.
We have a few permanent spaces available. Monday lunchtime or afternoon.
Tuesday morning
Thursday lunchtime
Friday morning and 1 lunchtime space.
Unfortunately we are unable to take anymore solo walks.
We have a few spaces available for 30 minute and 1hr walks. We only take 2 dogs out at a time unless from same household. We also do home visits for dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, hamsters and most other animals and birds.
We provide a home sitting service if you go away so your pets are cared for in your own home and your house is looked after too.
