⭐️ Retirement Livery⭐️

We are opening our doors again for a couple of unicorns to join us at our family home on a full retirement livery basis only. We have over 30 years experience of running a loving knowledgeable livery service with all the love and kindness we give our own horses. Horses will be within a few steps of our home, and will be treated as members of the family. We love to take our horses into the orchard to pick their own apples, and there is always a cuddle or kiss from a small-person on tap.
There are a couple of options to choose from to suit your horse’s requirements, please see below. Prices are per horse / pony, or for two shetlands sharing.
We do have lovely hacking facilities if you want to out for the odd wander but storage of tack / equipment is not included

- Stabled Full Retirement Livery -

If your horse is used to a fuss, love, a bed each night and daily handling, stabled retirement livery may be for you.
- Full livery
- Haylage
- Bedding
- Muck out / skip out
- Basic hard feed am/pm if required
- Rug changes
- Leg wash & grooming
- Turnout and bring-in both summer and winter everyday unless really adverse weather (turnout can be individual, in a pair or a small heard of 3-4 depending on your horse’s preference)
- Farrier trim every 8 weeks
- Worming
- Holding for dentist / vet if necessary

If your horse is ready for the free-life of living under the stars, grass retirement livery may be for you.
- Living out throughout the year in a small heard of 2-4 horses (Just a few strides from our home for your peace of mind)
- Checked multiple times per day
- Haylage over the winter periods

- Rug change according to weather
- Worming

One year on from the sad passing of the ‘magical being’ that was Caesar 171 we look forward to welcoming a foal out of our beautiful petite 15hh warmblood Keiko (Calypso II).

Caesar enjoyed a successful competition career in his own right, and leaves behind a flourishing legacy in the form of his many progeny.

Caesar has supplied the British pony team with key competitors in the last decade. His prolific dressage offspring include Cruz III (purchased by Charlotte DuJardin), who is competing at inter I, plus LE Chiffre, Ell BS and George Clooney BS.

In January 2011, Caesar was awarded the prestigious British Breeders SPSS [Sports Pony Studbook Society] performance and breeding award in recognition of his own international successes, as well as his influence on British pony breeding. In 2015, he was awarded the SPSS dancer medal as a result of the many successes of his progeny in 2014.

Wow! With the horsebox out of use it took 3 people doing double runs to do rug collections today! We set a challenge to see who could fit the most rugs in a car 🤪 thank you to our lovely customers for coming back to us - we do a little happy dance with every load 🫶🏼 🧺 🧚‍♂️
