On the cold wet days cuddling cats is just the best 😻 but I've been lucky with the weather for some stunning dog walks.
Still some availability for cat and small animal care during Feb half term and Easter school holidays but July and August are getting very full.

Diary is open and filling fast for 2025.

Have a good new year when it comes, I've a curry in my tummy, a peach schnapps in hand and doubt I'll be awake for the bells 🍾

Not sure where the last 2 months have gone but lots of horses, cats, my regular gang of dogs I walk, hens, rabbits and even some sheep and a gecko have kept me occupied and I'm now off for a wee holiday in the sunshine ☀️😁🍹

I've very limited availability over the festive period and am reducing how much I take on over winter, particularly horse jobs as I physically can't do the mucking out and heavy work these days - middle age is tough!

2025 diary is open and filling fast with small animal care.
I've time off planned 24th Jan to early Feb, late March/ early April before school easter holidays start, 9th to 19th May, June just before school summer holidays, 25th Aug to 1st Sept and then I'll fit in an autumn break late October/early November

Enjoying a couple of quieter days this week after a rather hectic July. School holidays always mean I'm busy cuddling cats, walking dogs and checking horses, hens, chinchillas, degus and rabbits, but my mum being poorly has added to the general stress levels this summer. Very glad to see her on the mend now.
I'm fully booked until October and appear to have got my dates for school holidays wrong 🤦🏼‍♀️ and have planned time off from 19th (last weekend of the October school break) to 25th October. So anyone looking for pet sitting around that time please let me know ASAP. Limited availability through November and I'm undecided on what I'm working over the festive period.
Never too early to give me dates for next year, even just tentative dates, diary is already filing.

Woohoo, last job of the day done and I'm off for 7 whole days now 🥳 it's been a long time since I've had this length of a break, or a day off come to think of it, and it's much needed ahead of the busy school summer holidays.

It's been a very horse filled few weeks along with my regular dogs to walk, cats to cuddle, hens to feed. Never a dull moment!!
I've extremely limited availability for cat/hen/small animal care until June 19th, on holiday June 20th to 26th and then fully booked until late July.

So nice to see the sun today after what feel like a very soggy, muddy few months 🌧️.it's been a slog.
Always glad to have cats to cuddle indoors to warm up and dry off in between walking dogs and mucking out horses.

May is fully booked 4th to 20th and I'm away June 20th to 27th.
Early July is heavily booked, I'm off again August 26th to Sept 2nd then the first 2 weeks of September are already more or less full.

How is it February already?!? Probably because I kept going on holiday in January 🤣🍹🏖️ but back to cold wet reality in between to walk dogs and muck out horses, and I'm in the country for the foreseeable now.
I've got a couple of cat care spaces available over the half terms holidays but end of Feb and mid March onwards are very busy and Easter weekend is fully booked.
Next planned time off is 24th to 29th April and then 19th to 29th June.

Shortest day of the year felt like the longest after a Xmas party last night and a few too many peach schnapps 🎉😴🤦🏼‍♀️

That's me off now for the next 5 days to enjoy Christmas with my mum, back to work 27th and fully booked over new year. I'm off 12th to 15th and again 27th Jan to 4th Feb then it's into school half terms and life gets busy once more.

Thanks to all my clients for your support in 2023, I really do love my job and all the animals I care for and very much appreciate all the kind festive gifts, cards and thoughtful gestures.

New diary day!!!
I'll be transferring all my current 2024 bookings into this over the next few days and planning exactly when I can have days off so if you're thinking of holidays and maybe needing me for your pets, please don't leave it too late, I'm getting better at saying no!
Had a great time on holiday in Tenerife 🍹☀️ and came home rested and relaxed. It's been a nice, gentle return to work and lovely to be in the forests with the little group of dogs I walk regularly, enjoying the autumn colours in the sunshine (let's not talk about the rain last Wednesday morning 🌧️🌧️🙈)

I know the feeling Arrow 🥱😴, but I'm on holiday now for a week 🎉

School holidays always brings me lots of lovely cats to cuddle and this last week or so has been very horse oriented. I'm no longer doing in home dog sitting but I've still my regular little group of dogs to walk, daycare and spend time with.

New year is now fully booked and I'm looking forward to having Christmas off this year.

Phew, September was..... Intense!
The end of August should have been my chance to recover from a busy summer but circumstances combined to leave me physically and mentally drained going into an already busy period. Lots of dogs to cuddle and walk and cats needing attention always helps soothe the soul though. Horses to check, feed and fly spray plus some hens and guinea pigs to care, and I've just finished a weekend working my other job which is on the coffee trailer for Loulabelles cafe at a biking event. Very glad for a rest day tomorrow 😴.

✴️Fully booked through October and away on holiday 25th to 31st October.

✴️Taking 22nd to 26th December off this year, very limited availability over new year.

✴️Starting to plan my time off next year, probably end of January, end of April, mid June, end of August and late October /early November next year. If anyone has plans and needs me please let me know ASAP.

The last 6 weeks has been a blur of dog sitting and walking, peak school holiday season so lots of cats, horses, hens, ducks, guinea pigs, rabbits, degu and chinchillas to care for and added to that my mum moved home 🤯 life has been somewhat busy but I had a whole day off yesterday and slept for 15 hours 😂😴 so I'm back up to speed again now 💪
August has limited availability up to 24th then I'm fully booked right through September, October I'm away on holiday around 25th for a week.
It's never too early to pencil in dates for next year as I'll be starting planning my own time off shortly.

Hope everyone is managing in this heat 🥵 thankfully I was able to keep my dog walks in shady forest by streams but it's made the last few weeks hard work. I'm off now for 5 days on a little break to Norway 🇳🇴 to revive myself before the busy summer season.
The remainder of the summer is very heavily booked and September is more or less full.

My goodness there has been a lot of animals cared for since I last posted! So many cats to feed (in one case give insulin injections) and cuddle, dogs to walk and spend time with and horses needing fed, fenced, fly sprayed and the odd belly scratch. Bunnies, hens and a gecko all needing my attention as well.

June is now fully booked until after 25th and availability is limited July, August and September.
Looking ahead I've decided to take Christmas 🎅 off this year, 23rd to 26th inclusive, and I will only take a very small number of bookings over new year.

Back to normality after Easter holidays which was busy with lots of cats to cuddle, horses to check over and my little regular gang of dogs to walk.
I'm fully booked 6th and 7th May, have holidays planned 10th to 15th May and fully booked again 23rd to 28th May.
Very limited availability through June for cat/small animal drop in visits, I'm on holiday again 17th to 21st June, and July is filling fast.

First day of summer time and a snowy walk with Morag the collie today. 😱🥶
March has been full of dog sitting, with some much loved regular cats to see and two magnificently adorable and squeaky guinea pigs to care for, alongside my regular group of dogs I walk and horses I help look after.

April is now almost full, with the first 10 days over Easter fully booked, and I've some time off planned May 10th to 15th and June 17th to 21st. If you need me for your pets care please don't leave it too late, life is busy and I hate to disappoint!
