As I mentioned before but just as a reminder. I am holding some appointments back as Ross will (hopefully 😜) be leaving at some point soon. So I will have some appointments which are more short notice coming up on a week to week basis. I don’t want to end up too overbooked when he does leave. Also if you are new, Ross is my other half so don’t worry I’m not being mean hoping he is leaving soon. The feeling is mutual 😂.
I have 12pm and 2pm available on Wednesday this week if anyone would like them 🐾✂️🫧

Tonight I’ve sat and cried some tears after receiving two messages back to back by lovely owners letting me know their babies have passed away. Last week another one of my monthly regulars passed over as well. Some of these dogs have been with me since I opened the shop and would come every month, you just get used to seeing them and it leaves a sadness on the days you know they would usually come in. The last Tuesday of the month at 3pm I think of Summer. The last Thursday of the month at 3pm I think of Roxy. Every 3 weeks usually on a Wednesday I will think of Pru and every 4 weeks usually on a Thursday at 1pm I will think of Tikka. It’s tough as a groomer, seeing dogs who once came bounding in the door slowing down and getting their wee old powdered sugar faces and cloudy eyes 😞.
I am not the best at talking, I think I am quite socially awkward actually,(absolutely why I work with dogs and not people😅) Sometimes I feel like I can never find the right words to say when a pet passes over and I don’t always post individual dogs after they pass because I don’t want to upset owners. I couldn’t look at pictures of Leo after he passed for a while as it would just break my heart 💔 I know this is a long sad post but I just wanted to share my condolences to every one of my furry friends who have passed away this year ♥️x

I know that it must be different,
now that I am no longer there.
I realize how much I was loved
and how all of you did care.
I know it will be hard at first
when you look around for me.
Expecting to find me in my bed
or beside my favorite tree.
Someday you will begin to see
although it’ll take some time,
the happy times you shared with me,
the memories are yours and mine.
I’ll remember you, my friends,
and how much you meant to me.
So please don’t grieve and don’t be sad,
it was just my time to leave.
