Pablo is feeling so much better he even tried to climb on top of his wooden hide. What a sweetheart. Even our vet didn't think that Pablo would survive this due to his very young age and his size and disability and possible Adenovirus positive result. The reality for now is, that Pablo is on the way to recovery. He is definitely feeling much better. I trully love Pablo, because he is really special and I did promise him, that he will stay with me and I will always care for him and love him forever.

We have loads of Axolotls ready for their new homes. They are all rescues and we would like to find homes that are loving and people who will be able to provide correct and consistent care forever. ❤🦎❤

Why do petshop owners sell unsafe products?
You are there to help our animals not sell uneducated owners unsafe products that will cost them hundreds in vet bills and eventually kill their pets. It’s not just axolotls it’s all animals, dogs, cats, rabbits, Guinea Pigs, mice, rats, frogs, reptiles the list goes on. You would think you would make more money not killing our pets and actually selling pet owners the correct food, and items they need to set up, it’s not hard to do a bit a research on what’s appropriate and what’s not for specific animals.

Most of you will know by now that axolotls can not have mammalian meats (beef, lamb ect) and poultry, but there are a few newbies who don’t know this and it doesn’t help that one of the most sold axolotl food products in New Zealand’s main ingredient is beef……. yes bEeF, a food that will not only make your axolotl obese, but will cause renal failure,and hypervitaminosi (vitamin A toxicity).

I will never understand how a product like this got put into our market and sold in nearly every petshop in New Zealand when they haven’t even spelt the word “Axolotl” correctly, seriously! people who can’t even spell “Axolotl”designed a food for this species 🙃 WHY!!!

If you have this product in your home do your pets a favour and chuck it in the bin, go out and get some Grubpie, pellets or even some earthworms, these three foods are nice nutritional foods your pets will love you for!

My "special case"of a angry dragon update. Loki is a beautiful and strong dragon. He is doing really well and although he still have his moments of mad anger, he let's me touch him, he let's me stroke his back and under his chin, he let's me clean his vivarium, he let's me sometimes pick him up and have a wee cuddle. The other night, Loki fell asleep on my chest. Therefore I know my methods are working. My way of working with these beautiful souls, work. Everything I do I am doing for those rescue animals, every decision I make is for their wellbeing and happiness.
LOVE is the remedy for Loki's broken heart. He has to learn to trust again. ❤🦎❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Benji & Basil 2 beautiful rabbits. They ate super friendly and so gentle. These 2 guys came for a bit of respite care. I will make sure they are both happy and content. These guys are super special. 💛🐇🐇💛

Perthshire Axolotl Rescue Centre :

1. I have ALL correct enclosures for ALL of my rescue animals.

2. I create and maintain correct husbandry for ALL of our rescue animals

3. I do NOT use Repti carpet for our reptiles. They ALL have slate or rough floor tiles. ( i use steam cleaner and F10 to clean)

4. I NEVER cohabit our Bearded Dragons as I am aware of the risk and they are solitary animals so cohabiting is just not suitable for these animals. I ONLY ever had the female beardies together when they all went outside in my own garden, or when they are on the window watching.

5 I do NOT intend to become the best. I do NOT take huge amount of reptiles and other animals like other places , I do NOT hoard these animals. I do not want to "show off" my animals, I only take in sick animals for which I provide vet treatment , additional therapies ( always searching for new ways to treat and help) and correct husbandry. My place is small but I work intensely with our animals. I only ever want the best life for these animals.

6. I believe that if we all connect and work TOGETHER and NOT against each other, we can achieve so much more, we can rescue and rehabilitate so many animals IF we all do this with LOVE and RESPECT for each other and NOT hate and spreading LIES!!!!!!

WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!!!!!!!

Bolt, Anthony and Beardie, saying good morning and my heart is smiling every time I look at these beautiful little souls. They bring so much happiness and teach me to be happy with the "small stuff" . Animals are so very smart and they are teaching us so much.we just have to start listening. ❤🦎❤

UPDATE on our little baby Bolt.
Our vet could not say what is wrong with Bolt , she said that his shoulder seems to cause him some pain but otherwise he is alert and very active. He climbs and run around, only he twitches his legs sometimes .
Our vet Amy told me to do what I always do with our animals, and we will see if Bolt pull through as it can go either way. Amy said that there is a possibility of Bolt having ADV so I will be taking extra precautions not to spread it to our other reptiles.
We are happy Bolt has a CHANCE and we will do everything possible for him to pull through .
Bolt has been prescribed Tramadol and Metacam . ❤🦎❤

We are just at the vet with Bolt to see if he has Adenovirus or vitamin D3 deficiency. Bolt came from the local pet shop and he didn't eat very much since he came . He was returned be the people who first bought him and they returned him

This made my day. Such a beautiful idea Paulina Rybicka and Blanka. It is absolutely amazing when you connect with people who wants the same for our animals. Its incredible when you meet people with such a huge sense of empathy for all of the animals. Its just so precious when children just speak to the animals, because they do have this ability. I have never seen children so tuned into the nature's frequency. They absolutely know and understand what is best for animals and what we as humans should be doing to help them thrive. We have to learn to go back to the nature. We have to find a way how to live peacefully with nature. We need to respect our planet. When all like minded people will connect and will work together for the same goal, that is when we change things forever.
I just want to thank you for the opportunity to be able to work with these kids, because when the time comes it will be them who will change all what needs to be changed for good. ❤🦎❤🐍❤🐢❤🐸❤🪳❤🦗❤🦜❤🐛❤🐠❤🪱❤

I would like to introduce Seamus, he is a 5 year old Royal Python and so BEAUTIFUL.
Well, Seamus came to us only a few days ago and already managed to make me panic over him.
This morning I found an empty vivarium and one of the vents inside was moved and it created a hole which was perfect for his escape plan.
Well I found Seamus under the small chest of drawers and he was totally chilled and this was very first time I was able to hold him and to get to know him a little bit.
Wow, what an amazing snake this is ......I fell in love with Seamus, he will be staying in our Sanctuary forever so he will not be available for adoption. ❤🐍❤

This is Anthony eating Wax Worms ( After being syringe fed for a long time). Anthony and me share very strong bond and we can communicate. I am not really bothered if someone says that am "crazy ". I am not crazy and this is my way of working with my rescues. I learn all about them as individuals and they are constantly communicating, only we do not listen. Anthony taught me how to hear all my rescues "talking" and I learned to listen. Then I started communicating. Even though I am talking with my mouth, the whole communication process is inside your brain. We all are born with abilities such as this one,only we loose it as we grow up. Animals are here to help us achieve our goals and they are here to teach us, always. It comes down to one thing,: Animals mastered Unconditional Love❤
