Is your horse still loosing its winter coat?
Do you think it’s too late to clip?

This is my grey horse Suzie after a full clip today with a leg blend.
With the sudden rise in temperature and the delayed summer weather a lot of horses are still looking fluffy and struggling with this heat.

My clippers are now back working and my diary is already filling up quickly so message to get booked 🤩

Well done to all my clients competing over the weekend. Was great to see everyone out with some fantastic results too😍 I also got to teach a turnout class with the members of east Aberdeenshire pony club which included clipping, trimming, plaiting and turnout and the kids did brill 🤩

While my clippers are out of action for a few more weeks I am still available for any plaiting, trimming or grooming ✂️

Hi everyone

I know it’s been a while since I last posted on here as I have been kept super busy so thought I would give you a little update and reminders for new and existing clients that from this month (October) there will be a mileage cost added on for any clients out with Peterhead. This is a very very small fee to help with the rising costs of fuel and something I have been putting off for a while.

Here are a few ways to reduce this cost:

- share the mileage cost between multiple liveries / friends by booking in a few horses at a time. The mileage will then be divided between each horse

- I know some of my clients get lessons at Lorraine Buchan Equestrian so feel free to let me know when your lesson is and we can plan a clip before or after.

On a lighter note, I have a few more dates that have became available for October bookings. There is limited availability in November and December so try book your service in advance. My 2023 diary has not opened yet and I will let you know when it is.

Been a busy week here and like usual I forgot to take any before and after pictures

This week I got asked to do a full clip on a 5 YO who has only have had a bib clip before. She was the most well behaved sweetheart and did so well. We took our time and made sure the experience was a good one 🥰

I had the cutest little dude in to get his feathers tidied up as he has a few big pony club events coming up. For this I used the livery man classics to blend up the way

I also got time to pamper my own gorgeous horse as were set off to Tillyoch yesterday where she jump 2 DC’s placing 3rd in both classes. This show was fantastic and the atmosphere was just brilliant with so many supportive spectators. My Miss Suzie was treated to a full body wash with a mane and tail trim so she was sparkling ✨

I have availability over the next few weeks for the Peterhead and surrounding area so feel free to get in touch for availability and pricings

WOW what a week 🤩

So great to see a lot of my clients again after a busy few weeks off.

Had a number of horses and ponies booked in for pamper sessions which included a clip, mane and tail tidy as well as their feathers trimmed.

Thank you to Aberdeenshire Pony Club for having me and helping teach the kids about Clipping, Plaiting and Trimming so that they could earn their badges.

Topped off my week by having this lovely boy below booked in first thing on Saturday to be plaited up for his show. The plaits below are 24hrs later 🤩🤩🤩

Watch this space as I will hopefully be releasing dates for plaiting and trimming lessons. This can either be at your own yard for a 1 to 1 or group sessions.
