🥰Nervous doggies welcome!🥰

Bilbo here is super nervous and can be somewhat dog reactive - especially around bigger dogs - but we did a little visit this evening to make sure he's prepared for his upcoming walks with me. Such a gorgeous friendly boy. Welcome Bilbo 😇😇

We're finally due to get some nice weather next week. With temperatures rising, it's best to read our top tips on keeping your dog cool and safe during the hot weather.

☀️ Ensure your dog always has access to fresh drinking water, and consider adding ice cubes to keep it cooler.
☀️ Freeze tasty treats like bananas, carrots, or dog biscuits in water for a fun canine doggipop.
☀️ Set up a shady paddling pool in your garden for your dog to cool off and play in.
☀️ Soak your dog's kibble in water, stuff it in a Kong or hollow bone, and freeze it for a refreshing treat.
☀️ Let your dog play under a sprinkler or hose to beat the heat.
☀️ Skip the walk and go for a leisurely sniff-about under a shady tree instead.
☀️ Keep cool, damp towels on hand to drape over your dog periodically.
☀️ Increase airflow wherever your dog rests by using a fan or leaving doors open.
☀️ Make sure the ground is not too hot by checking with your hand before going outside.
☀️ Always prioritise your dog's comfort and safety during a heatwave.
