Salon renovations!! We now have MORE space and it is fantastic. A big thankyou to my mum, dad and fiancé today for sweating it out and getting it done. All air conditioned and looking just amazing. Now for the downstairs to be done. But for now I am one very happy groomer. 🥰

If you didn’t know, at Crufts I made the decision to give back! I made myself a sponsor for Olive from Guide Dogs UK. I just got the first package with all the information and our first photos. She is a puppy that’s going to go through training to become a guide dog.

Crufts 2023!!! Lots of new things for the salon. I met so many groomers and dogs. Had the best day ❤️
How to get your dog used to having their face brushed. 1. Get them on a difference surface so they know you’re serious. 2. Use fingers and thumbs to replicate the motion of brushing. 3. Remain deadpan and emotionless to bad behaviour to not give them a justification for it. 4. Once calm and acting well. Praise calmly with “good girl/boy”. 5. Repeat the process with the handle of the brush. 6. Repeat the process with the brush. 7. Go back to step one if bad behaviour ensues. 8. Make sure to be consistent and repeat everyday till you have it nailed.
