😍 MJ & Sox have had their initial sessions of Salt Therapy. Both for respiratory problems. After the first session, MJ came out in hives. Well, that was a first. Was it the salt 😳 or just a coincidence 🤔 The only way to know was to continue salting. After the second day, the hives reduced and disappeared the day after the last session 😃. Both MJ and Sox have improved. In fact, after Sox had a vet visit, the vet said her airways and lungs were clear 💪 💕

🥰 Teggles and Colin have had their initial sessions of Salt Therapy. Both were a little unsure at first but soon found that it was nice and relaxing. Salt therapy helps manage respiratory problems and skin issues 🐴

🐴 Had a lovely few days treating racehorses. All well behaved and enjoyed the sessions. One was a little nervous on day one but soon relaxed and enjoyed the next sessions 🥰

🏇DRY SALT THERAPY - Simple but amazing 🐶

🧂 How is works...

🥕 Respiratory
Anti-inflammatory - The salt particles which the horse breathes benefit the irritated lining of the sinuses and lungs from the bronchus down to the alveoli. With salts natural anti-inflammatory properties it reduces tissue irritation and swelling, opening the airways for improved breathing and oxygen utilization.

Antibacterial - In many respiratory tract conditions airways become narrowed and irritated filling with mucus where bacteria flourishes. Not only does salt help expel bacteria through mucus clearance but salt being a natural antibacterial agent, helps kill harmful bacteria in the respiratory tract.

Mucus Clearance - When the salt particles enter the sinus and lung cavities, they react with the mucus by diluting viscosity and allowing it to be expelled. Drawing out the mucus helps open up the airways and help rid them of allergens and bacteria.

🍎 Skin
The particles of dry salt which are dispersed into the air will fall on to the skin. Because dry salt is ultra-absorbent the particles permeate into the epidermis of the horses skin, absorb oils and reduce the frequency of irritating skin conditions. The natural antibacterial properties of the salt can prevent the development of bacteria and help normalize the skins pH level.🦄
