🏇DRY SALT THERAPY - Simple but amazing 🐶

🧂 How is works...

🥕 Respiratory
Anti-inflammatory - The salt particles which the horse breathes benefit the irritated lining of the sinuses and lungs from the bronchus down to the alveoli. With salts natural anti-inflammatory properties it reduces tissue irritation and swelling, opening the airways for improved breathing and oxygen utilization.

Antibacterial - In many respiratory tract conditions airways become narrowed and irritated filling with mucus where bacteria flourishes. Not only does salt help expel bacteria through mucus clearance but salt being a natural antibacterial agent, helps kill harmful bacteria in the respiratory tract.

Mucus Clearance - When the salt particles enter the sinus and lung cavities, they react with the mucus by diluting viscosity and allowing it to be expelled. Drawing out the mucus helps open up the airways and help rid them of allergens and bacteria.

🍎 Skin
The particles of dry salt which are dispersed into the air will fall on to the skin. Because dry salt is ultra-absorbent the particles permeate into the epidermis of the horses skin, absorb oils and reduce the frequency of irritating skin conditions. The natural antibacterial properties of the salt can prevent the development of bacteria and help normalize the skins pH level.🦄

😇 Lovely Connemara Toby has had 3 sessions of Salt Therapy. Toby has been having a bit of mucus and the odd cough. Salt therapy helps dilute the mucus allowing it to be released along with any airborne pollutants. It also works really well as an anti-inflammatory which will help the cough. Toby was a little ⭐️ in every session 💕

🥰 Angel has had 3 sessions of Salt Therapy as she has been diagnosed with mild asthma. She also has a cough when in canter. She has been worked since the salt therapy and I'm happy to report, no cough 😁. Angel was perfect to treat and I think she enjoyed the sessions 🏇💕

🏇 Top up time with lovely Ash. We've not seen Ash for a couple of months. He was definitely ready for his salt therapy. Ash does suffer with very thick mucus. The salt helps draw out moisture allowing the thick mucus to dilute, making it easier to release 🏇💕

😍 What a super⭐️ Tom has been for his first session of salt therapy. After rigging up a salt room using tarpaulin, Tom was totally unfazed and stood like a perfect gentleman 🐴❤️

🥰 Beautiful Jupiter has had her monthly top up. Jupiter has really suffered with her breathing due to allergies. 🤞she is doing amazingly well, however white mucus is still dripping in the sessions. 🏇❤️

🐶 Meet Frank. While visiting Star & McCoy for a top up, their owner mentioned that Frank's breathing wasn't too good and would salt therapy help. Of course my answer was yes and in Frank came for the session. What a good boy he was and laid infront of the machine. The following morning I was sent this video 💕
