Stanley Hill tops the charts! 🎶🎵🎶

A successful day for Team Stanley Hill at Merrist Wood BD Freestyle to Music.

Ruth and Dottie won their Bronze Novice class, and Zoe and Silva won the Novice Silver, both with very pleasing scores. Not to be outdone, Michelle and Frank did a fabulous test and won their Silver Medium class too!

A great weekend at BD Regionals for Stanley Hill!
Zoe & Silva did a lovely test & finished 6th which was a great result for their first regionals and a great way to celebrate Zoe’s Birthday 🎉 🎉🎉
Frank was also a Star on Saturday being 9th in Elementary 59 and 4th in the music 🎶.
So nice to have a sunny bank holiday Monday to pamper the horses in the sunshine!!!

Despite the challenging British weather Hannah & Mac had a good outing arena eventing in preparation for Tweseldown BE...Mac seems to be enjoying his new career having previously raced..well done Hannah!
Frank went to Parwood to do his 1st Mediums and returned home with a 1st & 2nd with good scores qualifying for Summer Regionals...a good start for his new level!

It looks a though COVID restrictions are easing up and competitions starting soon!! All very exciting stuff especially as the weather is improving and Summer Time starting next weekend.

We have maintained our BHS recommended livery yard status for 2021.

Stanley Hill had great news last week receiving BD qualifications for Area Festival and Regional Finals..Silva continued his progression with Zoe on Saturday to win both his Novice tests to secure another Qualification!!
Charlotte & Libby has qualified Medium level & Frank Qualified Elementary including music...let’s hope we get the chance to compete!
Meanwhile some of the horses are getting into their Christmas outfits and we are having a most festive face mask competition!

Well Stanley Hill has been quiet on Facebook recently but we have been busy!
It so good seeing the combinations progress!
We have enjoyed clinics with Sue McMahon and Daniel Greenwood and we have been lucky to also have Ernest Dillon pop in as well!
Silva & Zoe concluded the BE season with a well deserved ribbon...exciting to see what the spring brings for them!
Charlotte & Libby have had some encouraging scores doing Advanced Medium on line...amazing the progress they have made and still improving!😊
We had Elena Moore-Schackman come to stay for a month to help bring on her young horse which was great fun!
Lots to look forward to in December!

A great week for Stanley Hill!
We were delighted to see Gabrielle Horricks-Webb to give the horses a treatment & she was pleased to see how they had improved through lockdown so well done to The Team!
Coming out of lockdown Frank has been to his 1st outing winning his class and qualified for Elementary Regionals...he will be trying his hoof @ music soon!
Silva went to Tweseldown on Saturday with Zoe & was equal best dressage...with just a rail & a bit of too fast time XC they finished 4th so really coming together now!
Henry & Taego enjoyed the afternoon in the newly divided field enjoying the grass & the shade @ the same time!!
It was great to finish the day with a yard BBQ which was so nice to catch up with everyone!

Another busy week @ Stanley Hill...so good to see Anna out @ clinic with Dotty returned full of confidence & ready to go on another outing!
Zoe & Silva did their 2nd event looking more grown up and another clear XC so exciting future!
Lynn & Michelle went to collect the new BBQ & patio heater kindly given to us by Jane which we look forward to using next weekend! Thank you Jane Bridges!!

A great weekend at Stanley Hill...Zoe & Silva got to their 1st event and had a really encouraging outing showing a lot of promise for the future!
On Sunday Sue McMahon brought the sunshine for a busy clinic..:so lovely to see the horses really progressing.

Livery space available...well Stanley Hill has certainly been busy during lockdown!
It has been great seeing people enjoying the progress their horses have made while being able to see lots of activity down the fields fencing,mowing,strimming,harrowing and rolling!
Ori has painted both schools and so nice to see how the horses are going when we use the new mirrors!
It’s great to be able to go in some lovely hacks again & we were delighted to hear the band will no longer be out the back gate any more!😊

We are very pleased to announce dates for our Masterclass Clinics with Sue McMahon Dressage and Dan Greenwood Dressage which will be taking place once a month at Stanley Hill - a fantastic way to get you and your horse up and running again!

Congratulations! Team Pointless Without Prosecco won their Team Quest dressage on Saturday.

Lisa on Dan won Team Quest P12 with Emily coming 2nd. Jenni on Sirius won TQ N34 ensuring the team won overall.

Lisa and Dan also won her MQ and her unaffiliated Prelim classes. Jenni and Sirius also came 2nd in MQ Novice.

Alli and Brooks were also part of the successful team.

Well done to you all - SHECL is very proud of you.
