t night home with me at 8 weeks old was miraculous - she only cried for 5 minutes at being left alone at bedtime and then slept through the night. Indie doesn't bark at the door or when she sees other people and dogs walking past the window. She really is incredibly chilled and relaxed and is absolutely fine being left for 4 to 5 hours at a time. As a young girl she was always very excited when meeting up and playing with other dogs when out for a walk but her superb nature meant that she never got in to fights or any kind of trouble. Even though I don't have children she loves them - her favourite thing is to see a family with young children, go up to them and drop her ball for the kids to throw for her. She's the most beautiful girl inside and out and that's why I decided to breed her. As a first time dog breeder, I've done all the recommended Kennel Club DNA, eye, hip and elbow tests. I've also been meticulous in choosing the right stud dog (and owner) to ensure all of his traits are equally as superb as Indie's. Indie met Blue (the stud dog) 3 times before they actually mated the first time around and she loved to run and play with him. Indie is not a breeding machine and it will have been 23 months between having her first and second litter. This will also be her final litter. I am still in touch with all of the first litter owners and I'm happy to provide references as to what great dogs her puppies have turned out to become. All of the boys went to families with young children and they have proved beyond doubt that they have inherited their mum and dad's love of children. I am truly delighted to report that the last puppy has found his forever home at long last. It's a very bitter-sweet moment for me, Indie and Saphie as we've all grown to love him so much since his last sibling left. Thanks to everyone who has shared many of my posts to find all 12 pups a home. It's over and out from Indie as she's had two litters now, but maybe her daughter Saphie will have a litter of fabulous pups early 2025 too!

Dogs who are loved are not breeding machines. The Kennel Club allow a mum (=Dam) to have 4 litters. I have seen many dog breeders put their dogs through back-to-back litters (meaning that they have another litter straight after their previous litter) and so the Mum (Dam) doesn't have any time to fully recover from having the previous litter. 4 litters in 4 years is just wrong.

Indie had 2 years between her 2 litters and she will never have a third or a fourth litter. That's simply because it's too much. Please be very careful when you buy a puppy and check the Kennel Club registry for profit-orientated breeding before buying. Avoid any puppies from a litter born within a 12 month time frame of the previous litter.

Having a 5 Star Council Breeders License or a Kennel Club Assured Breeders Certificate does not mean these dog breeders follow the same rules as I. Loved pets first, and always first.

OK, I would just like to make it absolutely clear that the last puppy that's available is the very last puppy that's ever going to be available from Indie. She's had 2 litters and that's it. She has carried, given birth and raised 20 puppies. That's enough for any mum but more importantly, that's more than enough for Indie.

Green collar boy is the last of his litter but he's just as adorable as all of the puppies who have found their forever homes. He now has a name and he knows it. He's available at the reduced price of £1,250 until the end of Easter Monday. After that, all adverts will end and this gorgeous boy will be staying with me, Indie and his big sister Saphie forever.

This is your last opportunity to have the best-natured, chilled-out and most loving puppy who will grow in to the same stunning dogs as Indie & Blue's first litter. I don't know of any other breeder who shares weekly updates of their puppies growing up, or the warm and loving environment in which they are raised from day 1 to day 84. And let's face it, 19 other black labrador owners can't be wrong!
