A great decoy day up woodbrough working kennels with decoy/trainer celso , always pushing to learn more
Pleasure to have Teddy on board for block training, owners got in touch needing help with Teddy for being disobedient, and his desire to chase small prey / reactive to cats
First session in the bag this morning for him working on his foundation with loose lead walking and engagement owners and Teddy smashed it 👌
Mo’s progress so far , 2 weeks into 4 week training plan. A very nervous girl , 2 weeks ago mo couldn’t even get out the front door so walks wasn’t an option also reactive to kids, people and dogs, any runners /people on bikes or scooters. A dog who’s afraid of the world . she would bolt and hide in the house if you closed the fridge or cupboard door to loud, after fixing some home issues and starting slow on socialisation here is mo 2 weeks on.
Walking around busy Central Park she done amazing watching kids play in the park , seeing plenty of dogs and people with prams or on bikes , and watching construction workers create loud noises and the best bit actually starting to enjoy walks
Thanks to the kids that helped us by going around mo on there bikes
Big duke in this evening , after a loose lead walking session and correcting some unwanted behaviours at home , he’s on his first stages of recall owner will be working hard over the next few weeks in the proofing stages of upping the distractions
Not enough videos taken to give this girl and owner the credit they deserve in training.
From last week only being able to walk Lola in secure paddocks due to her reactivity she is now understanding what is expected of her . Being neutral walking nicely around dogs and people , big steps for Lola from the amount of dogs she seen , she was able to switch off with out constantly being on guard
Here is a retriever i have been working with , this is a prime example of how correct use of tools can change your dog and family’s life , a few weeks of training this dog is now totally off lead enjoying his best life! if it wasn’t for the use of tools this lovely retriever would of been confined to being on lead for the rest of his life and owners never being able to enjoy there walks , he is only 12 months old and now has a happy life of freedom ahead of him
Great to see this boy back in action on his recall training after abit of time off due to an injury 💪
A great session with nico laying the foundation for place training nico showed great understanding going to place and staying on when door bell was ringing un till given the break command, place training is great way to set boundaries and have less stressful situations like dinner time/prepping food ,or when having guest over not every body likes a dog greeting them at full power the minute they step through your door
Mars getting his recall training in today ,starting in low distractions for the first time his owners will be working hard over the next week or so in the proofing stages training with mars in more challenging places around different distractions, looking forward to seeing mars progress in the coming weeks
A loose lead walking session nailed with this lovely pocket bully max today! An amazing difference max was a real pulling machine ,a heavy fixater and very excitable seeing other dogs , now walking with a loose lead and staying engaged with handler . ( we always forget to take before videos 🤯)
