Have you got a young puppy that needs some training? Does your puppy nip and jump up or never comes back when you call him/her?
If so, here a Hooe Hounds we have the solution: enrol on our next 6-week puppy class at the Staddy and you will certainly notice a difference in your pup!
We only use gentle, force-free methods to train our dogs and we will show you how to get your dog to do what you want in a supportive, non-judgemental atmosphere where your puppy can progress at his/her own pace.
Attending a puppy course does, of course, have lots of benefits for your puppy's socialisation too, as they will get to meet different people and other dogs (including our adult demo dogs) -sometimes for the first time. You will also learn how to get your puppy to do all the basic exercises such as sit, down, stand, off, watch me, leave it, wait/stay as well as to go to their mat or bed, walk nicely on a loose lead and come back when called. Besides this, we also do some fun activities with the pups which, in turn, have a positive knock-on effect for recall and loose lead walking. The classes are quite small and as there are two trainers on hand, we will make sure that you are given lots of help and advice.
We realise that taking in all the instructions in class can be a bit overwhelming, so we also provide you with detailed notes about what have done each week in the session. This will enable you to practise the exercises at home too between lessons.
Our February 25th course is now full, but we are going to run a second course at the beginning of March. If you are interested in attending this course, please contact us on 07393392552, email us at [email protected] or send us a message via our website:

Does your puppy jump up at everyone he sees? Does he have selective hearing and refuses to come back when called? Maybe he takes you for a walk rather than the other way round or runs off with something he shouldn't have in his mouth? If so, we are here to help with these and a range of other common...
