Hello all, how beautiful are these dogs? I'm not actually looking after them, just watching them play as l chat to their owners, what absolute magnificent beasts!!

Just spent a joyous week in Bideford north Devon with the beautiful Millie, a rescue dog hailing from Spain. Previously terribly nervous she'd jump at her own shadow but oh, what a different dog now courtesy of the love patience and devotion of her owner, as soon as l turned up, she was straight over to say hello and give my hand a kick! Last time we met l couldn't even look in her direction! Millie is now living the dream, loved, cherished and most importantly, safe.

Well l'm midway through a month long dog sit with the lovely Storm who is an annual booking but as l'd also booked a weekend music bash in Looe, well....Storm came too, with full permission from her owner naturally! An amazing weekend was had, mornings on the beach, then during afternoon and evening live music sessions l went back and forth to caravan for walks and company, Storm made lots of friends, everyone she met made huge fuss of her, as you can see here!!

Another dog sit with the lovely Pickle....most of my work now seem to be repeat bookings which is testimony itself that l'm doing something right....it's perfect really as the owners go away knowing their dog/s are with someone familiar and as with the case of Pickle, they get even more socialised as l take them here there and everywhere meeting up with friends - here's Pickle with Birdman, a legendary character in Plymouth!

Well, today is my last day for this particular 2 week dog sitting job, which includes a gorgeous cat called Burt who doesn't sit still long enough to be photographed! There'll always be a special place in my heart for Golden Retrievers and these two definitely smashed through that door and set up camp in my heart. I so hope our paths cross again, they were the sweetest beautiful natured pair and a joy to take care of!

Pudding and Buddy's owners are today getting hitched somewhere lovely and hot (obviously not in UK ;-) ) , l know they're missing their gorgeous hounds so huge congratulations to Jade & Joe!

Lots of new followers today, thank you and hello! Please remember me for your dog sitting dates and share my flyer when you see people asking for recommendations, Plymouth based but happy to travel around Devon & Cornwall for right bookings so long as public transport. More experienced with bigger dogs like Retrievers, Labradors, German Shepherds etc, love long walks!

Currently on an amazingly enjoyable dog sit with two beautiful golden retrievers at Plympton, we've covered some miles around Saltram, as you can see by them sprawled out, happy but tired dogs!

Coming to the end of my dog sitting stint with the lovely Jasmine, l've been very lucky to have been trusted with the most lovely of dogs and it's certainly an added bonus when doggy's owners have homes that are a joy to stay in! This one had been pure 5* luxury ;-) 😉

Well, now entering 2nd week of dog sit job with Jasmine the spaniel, a fabulous little dog, just look at those gorgeous eyes! Dogs so lift our spirits don't they? l wonder if l'm looking after her or she's looking after me! I love all the dogs l am fortunate enough to be trusted with. But so much rain for July!!

Say hello to Millie from Bideford in North Devon, a very nervous Spanish rescue, jumps at the slightest bang or movement. Although very cautious at first, now we're great pals. No idea of her past but amazing how quickly a dog can learn to trust and when she first jumped up beside me on sofa, l felt truly honoured. :-)

Well, my stint looking after Storm ends next week but today on West Hoe beach Storm played with Ellie the Golden Retriever, who l have met before a few times, and now it looks like l have a future dog sit booking with her lovely owner! Ellie will look after Ellie....we will look after each other!! ;-)

I'll never win any awards for photography but today the sun was shining, the tide was high and to the beach we went....Storm had a lot of fun playing with a little puppy, it's a joy to watch dogs interact, a quick sniff and sizing each other up, then it's all 'okay let's play!!' Sadly our time together is nearing the end, her owners return next week and l shall miss her....but that's okay, in a couple months we hitch up again!! I love repeat bookings!!

Let's just say, l'm a better dog sitter than photographer, l seem to have perfected the knack of capturing dogs from behind or miss off their heads completely. BUT Storm was intrigued to watch the Brittany Ferry go out...at one point she barked at it!

Well, meet Storm! She and l have embarked on a 5 week dog sit, it's a repeat booking, so we're well acquainted and get along absolutely fine. Today we visited a friend of mine and Storm jumped up on the sofa onto the dog blanket before my friend even had chance to say 'would she like a drink of water?!'. Yes.....she's definitely settled!! :-)
