just some friendly advice for anyone needing a groomer during the busiest season of the year.

**Here’s the deal:**
- Not all dog groomers are qualified.
- Not all dog groomers are properly trained.
- You get what you pay for.

**Red flags** pop up when someone’s hunting for a groomer *last minute* at Christmas:
🎄 *You didn’t plan ahead.* Christmas happens EVERY YEAR, folks.
🎄 We’re already flat-out looking after our loyal clients—who, by the way, booked in advance (some for Christmas **2025**!).

**Pro tip:** Find a groomer you trust and stick with them. Groomer-hopping isn’t just stressful for us—it’s confusing and unsettling for your dog. Every groomer has a different routine, and constant change doesn’t help anyone.

Got a nervous or reactive dog? The middle of a packed, high-stress salon at Christmas is *not* the time for their first visit. Plan ahead, choose wisely, and help your pup feel comfortable.

Oh, and asking for a *cheap*, last-minute groom? That’s the cherry on the chaos cake.

Beautiful furry bunch today !! Big or small we love them all 🥰🥰sadly i don't always get time to snap all the fur babies, sometimes I'm running behind and the doorbell goes, and then I have a very excitable ball of floof, moving at 100 miles an hour, ^impossible to snap' i do always endeavour to send shots throughout the groom or at the end, so you know you fur baby is happy and content and looking cute 😍

Does your pet’s fur protect them from the cold? ❄️

In most cases, yes! But in really wet and cold weather, if your pet isn't able to keep active or get themselves somewhere warm, their fur coat may not be enough. Like us humans, our pets, though thankfully rarely, can develop a dangerous and potentially deadly condition called hypothermia.

Any pet can become seriously ill if the temperature of their body drops too low, and acting quickly and doing the right thing could save your pet’s life.

Here are some key symptoms to look out for during the winter months! And if you suspect your pet may have hypothermia, it’s important to call your vet straight away and follow their advice ⚠️

Please please please check your dogs for fleas, yet again this morning i arrived to collect a dog to discover it was CRAWLING !!!!

So now I've a wasted appointment, used fuel and lost time not to mention out of pocket
