The lovely Billy.
Born 15th April 2022. Approx 12.2hh
This pony is curious, friendly, loves to just hang out with you.
He is going to be an amazing pony in the right hands.
If you are interested in loaning Billy, his loan fee is currently £250, but this will increase the more we do with him.

Today we would like to introduce you to the Beautiful Alpha, he was born June 2015, he has a lovely nature, very gentle and willing to please... We will measure him but guess approx 12-13hh.

Hoofbeats volunteer Florence, riding her Hoofbeats pony Bluie out to check the horses in the field have enough hay... It maybe cold and wet but the work must be done.... Although I think Bluie is ready to go back to his stable 😂

The lovely Ebony. Such a lovely temperment. Has been Ridden in the past.
Has been walked for miles on the moor so has seen a lot.
Her current loan fee is £250 but this will increase the more work we put into her.

This lovely Boy is Sherberton Delta.. He has managed to get himself a lovely home being a companion to another older, much loved boy.. Hoping they live out their lives together ❤️. Xx

We have been very lucky to have recently secured 10 acres of moorland grazing, with 2 stables and sheds, it's absolutely perfect for ponies and we are very excited... it's going to need to have work done to make it home, but we have never been shy of a bit of work..

We know we are terrible at Facebook posts and know we have to get better at keeping you all in the loop.. We promise we are continuing to work, and the lack of information does not seem to affect the horses and ponies that need our help.... We recently took over 10 ponies from the same home, who's owner has sadly become ill..They are all lovely ponies, who are of various ages from 2 upwards, all very well handled, and loving... Over the next few weeks we will be getting to know each of the ponies individually, and will be updating you with their progress.... Forever loan - Hoofbeats Sanctuary never sell

Dutch is still looking for his forever home due to no fault of his, we have had 2 people now who have gone through the process, then things have fallen through because of personal reasons for them.

Weight limit 13 stone.

Dutch has an amazing temperament. He loves attention and loves to be groomed. He is easy to catch and bring in and handle in every way.

He can be quite jumpy at ridiculous things such as sabretooth butterflies but just needs a confident handler who can reassure him. He never bolts or rears just stands there looking at it with his head up. The more he does the better he is, and is less reactive, he likes routine, and is not a horse you can leave in the field for weeks, then expect a plod out!
He does not enjoy schooling, but does get on with the job if you are consistent and confident, he loves hacking and fun rides.
He needs patience when loading as can take a while and does not like being pressured. He's much better if loading with a calm sensible horse that he knows but also needs to be able to trust the handler.
Dutch is fully shod and is good for the farrier.
He has been out of work, so needs to be brought back into work slowly.
Dutchs loan fee will be £1200 and will come with his fitted saddle, Bridle and turnout rug.
This money is used for the next horse or ponies rehabilitation.

This exceptional pony is looking for the perfect loan home.

He has been a lead rein pony and is perfect at this job.

We have started him towards a driving career, and he is not far from being putting to.

Fingle is not a first ridden pony as is strong and forward going and likes to be busy, but with work we know he will be a brilliant 2nd pony for a confident jockey.

The perfect loan home for Fingle would be either someone who is experienced at driving to take him to the next step in his driving career or a young person or small adult who wants a fun pony to bring on, this pony needs to go and have fun, so we would really like him to go to someone who wants to do pony club, fun rides, etc.

Fingle: is up to date with the dentist and his vaccinations, good for vet, dentist and farrier, loads and travels well, lunges, long reins, is good in traffic, has been out to shows and different places regularly, amazing at fancy dress and horse agility, we just unfortunately do not have the right jockey to take him to the next stage.

Due to loosing his little person he has has the summer off but we have hundreds of photos and videos with his little jockeys to show everything he's been up too so far in his life.

We have reduced Fingles loan fee, because we are now loaning him from the field and really want someone who is willing to teach him to be a ridden pony, so now as a project its £500... This is a one off loan fee that goes towards the cost of the next ponies rehabilitation and rehoming x

Bryor and Teasel christmas wish is to find their forever loan home 🎅❤️😊
Both ponies are Geldings, born in 2018, and Approx: 12hh. Dartmoor Types
Bryor and Teasel have had an easy start to their life, and have always been loved. To our knowledge they have done very little, and have been grass ornaments most of their lifes.
They are now ready to start their ridden work, although they have never been broken, and will need to start from scratch, they are very willing ponies, who love attention.
They will make super ridden or driven ponies and although not registered are a good looking solid dartmoor type.
They are being loaned as a project / companion and their Loan fee will be £500 each, but this will increase as we do more work with them.
We would love them to go together,but understand this is probably impossible, so we would split them.

He is not the bravest and needs a confident, patient person to give him the confidence to be his best self.
He has done parelli in the past so this is something he responds well to.
