He had a muddy but lovely play date on Sunday with his friend Jake over in Beverley.

Bear has had a very sociable week. A lovely mid week meeting with his friends Otto and Badger and a wonderful run around and wrestle with his new friend Koda the Dutch Shepherd cross puppy.
As you can see Bear was a big softie with Koda.

Bear is doing a lot better health wise so is more than happy to come out and play!

Bear went for a run around with his rescue friend Allie yesterday. He had a great hair day yesterday 💨😂😂

He's back feeling much better and happier after his recent troubles. So more than happy to meet up with you all for walks and play dates.

Bear enjoyed a very muddy trip to see his friend Jake yesterday in Beverley.
He's definitely feeling much better in himself.
If anyone is up for seeing Bear for doggy social play dates then please let us know when you're free and we'll get something organised! 😁🦮🐶🐻

Although not 100% yet Bear had a lovely time with Otto and Badger (not pictured) yesterday afternoon.
Bear is still on antibiotics for campylobacter (food poisoning - not a clue where he picked it up from) for another couple of days and then hopefully he'll be back fighting fit ready to go on adventures and meet his friends.

Hi everyone,
Apologies for the lack of posts/updates lately.
Bear has been a very poorly boy of late. We think he's on the mend now and following a full panel of bloods he was found to be B12 deficient and has suffered from toxascaris (looks like he's had it from a puppy despite us worming him numerous times) He's on a vitamin B supplement now and has perked up quite quickly.
So we'll give him some time to adjust and get his strength back (hopefully put on some Christmas pounds as he's lost a few!) over the festive period and fingers crossed we'll see you all in the new year for more doggy socials and play dates.

A great impromptu run around with Otto and Badger yesterday afternoon.

We have a good system for exercise. Badger chases the ball, Bear chases Badger and Otto chases Bear. Works a treat even if Badger still isn't interested in anything other than his ball.

Bear went on an adventure today to the Yorkshire Sculpture Park and met his Husky friends Freya and Loki. He loved them so much he wanted to go home with them!!

Lots of walking and great social interaction with people and other dogs. All finished off nicely with a minty doggy ice cream pot.

Bear got to see his friend Otto today. As you can see he was very excited to run around with Otto. Although he stood no chance trying to keep up!
We were also joined by Badger and Hendricks the Dachshunds who also joined in the fun.

Thank you to Bruce, Blaze and Roxy for coming to play with Bear this evening. Bear finally met his match in Bruce the Great Dane. Lots of fun had by all! Even if Roxy and Blaze were only interested in playing with their ball.

It was a little bit wet under foot. But that's fine when you have webbed feet like Bear.
Bear met Loki the black Russian Terrier and Gabe the Labrador at the big dog social at K9 Pawpark this morning. He also met Winter and Lexi (just in the top corner of the photo). Great fun had by all and the rain even held off thankfully.

Will we see you at Barmby Fields tomorrow for the A & B Dog Training big dog social?

We have the K9 Pawpark in High Catton booked tomorrow at 1530 for one hour.
We have enough room on the booking for two more pooches. Let me know if you want to join.

Bear met Otto the rescue Borzoi and Badger the Dachshund today. He finally found someone taller than him!
They had a wonderful time chasing each other around Barmby Fields. Although Bear couldn't match the pace of Otto!
Thanks to Clare, Howard, Otto and Badger (not pictured) for a lovely play date.

Bear missed you all this morning on West Green. He got a big soggy!

There were a lot of bottles and rubbish by the gym equipment. We picked up about a dozen bottles and some rubbish. Tried to pick up as much broken glass as we could. I've messaged the town council to see if they can clean the rest up. If you're on West Green today just keep an eye out for broken glass and definitely avoid the area around the gym equipment.

Following an overwhelming response to my plea for Big Dog friends. My Mummy and Daddy have set this up for me and all my new friends so we can meet up.

My name is Bear and I'm an eighth month old Caucasian Shepherd puppy. My Mummy and Daddy rescued me from Dog's Trust in August after I was found abandoned and tied to a tree in the woods.

Despite my size I'm actually still a puppy and I really love all doggies. I am quite conscious of my size and I try to lie down and make myself as small as possible to be the least threatening I can so dogs will say hello to me. But due to my size a lot of dogs are apprehensive of me which makes me sad.
I'd really love some big dogs who are similar in size to me (I'm a giant breed so think St Bernard, Newfoundland, Bernese Mountain Dog and Great Dane etc size) or dogs who love big dogs to meet and run around with. I'm still a puppy and still growing so I run out of steam quickly with lots of fast running but I'll do my best to keep going!

My Mummy and Daddy are happy to drive me places so I can meet new friends. I love an adventure and going to new places. You can usually find me on West Green for my morning walk.
