Good Morning All,

Tall Tails will soon have space for an established, confident & self employed Pet Groomer.

You need to meet all of the criteria detailed below. Each and every point is important to finding the right person to work alongside at Tall Tails, which is a calm and caring 1-2-1 home salon environment.

Essential Skills & Experience

✅ Very personable
✅ Minimum 2yrs experience of Dog Grooming in salon environment and running their own grooming business
✅ Passoniate and true Pet lover with animals welfare at the forefront of everything they do
✅ Own client base
✅ Able to take on new clients
✅ Must have own well maintained and serviced scissors, clippers, blades, comb attachments, brushes & combs to complete a groom (larger salon equipment such as tables, dryers are on site and can include shampoos, styling and hygiene products as part of the package too)
✅ Pet Grooming Insurance
✅ Examples of Grooms & References
✅ Good time keeping, diary management and ability to complete grooms within appropriate timeframes to suit breed type and styling requirements. This will ensure no cross over of customers, maintain traffic on site and maintain a calm environment for the pets in our care.
✅ Experience of dealing with difficult coat conditions such skin conditions, matts-tangles and the severe cases of these
✅ Support each other with big or difficult pets that need two people
✅ Experience and confidence when dealing with nervous/reactive dogs
✅ Strength & fitness to deal with psychical demands of Pet Grooming
✅ Able to commit to minimum of 4 full days per week with salon availability between Monday-Saturday

They have great industry experience, expertise and ensure I’m equipped to handle anything your four legged friends need to maintain their coat and ensure their welfare.

Keeping it Cool 😎…

We’ve been starting grooming very early (thank you everyone for supporting us with these early starts) & finishing by lunchtime to make sure your pups aren’t exposed to the high temperatures.

This week we have been cool bathing, towel drying & cool air drying during grooms to ensure your pets are safe.

We’ll be keeping an eye on temperatures next week too & may be in touch with you to reschedule if you’re appointments are after 1pm 🐾
