Did you know It's the most common ♥️ heart condition in cats. ??

No need to shave 🪒
for his yearly heart scan

He passed with flying colours as it was exactly the same as last year so that a massive win 🏆 for him and his awesome Hoomans piece of mind

This fella has Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) a heart condition that causes a cat's heart walls to thicken, making it harder for the heart to pump blood 🩸

Symptoms

Shortness of breath, especially when active or lying down

Chest pain, especially when active

Fainting or near fainting

Rapid or labored breathing

Lethargy

Difficulty eating

Pain or paralysis in the hind legs

Swelling in the legs and feet

Treatment
There's no cure for HCM, but early diagnosis and treatment can help manage symptoms.

Treatments include medications and other measures to control congestive heart failure and reduce the risk of blood clots.

Prognosis
Cats with HCM can live for years without showing symptoms, but the disease usually worsens. If symptoms develop, cats typically survive for about two more years. HCM is the most common cause of sudden death in indoor cats.

His Hooman wanted a Pet so he was the perfect choice for her after giving him a forever home from the rescue

So a trip to the vets for a once over as he has a sore bum from his glands and a swollen red gum so a bit of TLC 💕 needed with meds

He will need trip in the near future to the puddy cat dentist 🦷 if the gum does not go back to normal so will be another trip in the award winning 🏆 Pet taxi 🚖 🐾 07894467139 if it doesn’t

Missy lived a long & happy life ❤️

She had unfortunately had a lot of illnesses near the end of her 27 hooman years

The horrible decision that many of you have been through and will always remember deeply was made

After a very long restless night for the hoomans, her hoomans daughter came up from London to support and take her on her last adventure

Her elderly hooman was heart broken 💔 & as she is disabled could not join us so said her very emotional goodbye as I collected the puddy cat

I was so blessed 😇 to be part of making sure she was super comfy & stress free in the Award winning 🏆 Pet Taxi 🚕 🐾 07894467139 for her final adventure

I felt so lucky to have spent time with this very loved 🥰 puddy cat before her forever sleep and heading over the rainbow bridge 🌈

Oh Dear 😞 he’s not a fan of the treat deflector on his noodle

Did your doggo or puddy cat struggle with the door frame chipping device (Cone 😂) on there bonce ??

After his op a few days ago he’s struggling with it

So much so that he’s falling asleep 💤 standing up 😧

Won’t be for much longer as his loving hooman & the vet are very very happy with the Op wound

Good news is we have loads of room in the back of the Award winning 🏆 Pet Taxi 🚖 🐾 07894467139

Turn for the worst 😢 worked with this stray abandon doggo last week, chip info is out of date and his leg has doubled in size 😱 The guys that found him have not the money 💰 to help him for the X-rays and possible operation 😭 so the dog warden has been called in and will picking him up tomorrow #straydogs #pets #dogs
