Anything above 20C can cause your dog to become dehydrated and very hot very quickly. The hotter the temperature, the higher the risk to your dog. As the temperature increases, even by just 1C, the risk to your dog increases too. Any temperature over 25C is a definite NO when it comes to walking!

Another busy day yesterday, last few days for Humphrey & Matilda I will miss these crazy hounds .
As you can see Bowey is about as fast as Milo to catch for a smile 😂 Hugo had the Wednesday blues and didn’t fancy smiling and Ellie was was just full of beans .

Another sad time for us as we had to say goodbye to Cas after 10 years 💔💔 Cas was the one that made us into dog people and showed us how much fun having a dog can be.

‼️ALL LOCAL DOG OWNERS / DOG WALKERS ‼️

I can’t believe I’m writing this, but we have dog thieves lurking in Featherstone.
Coco is my clients dog, she was running in the woods of Ackton / Featherstone Nature walk. Suddenly she didn’t reappear and return to owners whistle. My client frantically run round a corner to see her puppy coco attached to a dog lead and being walked off speedily by a couple in mid 40/50’s who had another dog with them.
When challenged they did not want to return her, were aggressive towards my client and stated she was running free and therefore she was theirs to take!!! Coco was desperately trying to pull away from them and was freaked out by the incident.
This couple had a spare dog lead on them, they knew full well she was with my client and that she was whistling her. The fact they’d managed to capture her and try to get away is frightening.
Coco is a young female puppy, so I’m thinking these bastards had her pegged for puppy farming potential. .
The lady had a woolly hat on, so no description of her hair. The man was talk and big built. My client has never seen them before and it’s her local area, where she’s walked dogs for many years.
She got coco back, but had no phone on her to capture images.

Unfortunately all walks /visits will be cancelled until at least the 21st of September, Due to me and the Hubster testing positive for the dread Covid .
