A lovely short week for me this week.
I'm off tomorrow for a dog show and then I have a 2 week holiday.
I will be back in work on Monday the 9th of September and will reply to all messages then.

A nice selection of dogs this week.
A lot of them are wool coated breeds or crosses that need regular grooming to prevent matting. Most of these are on a 6 week schedule to keep them comfortable.
Next week is only a 4 day week for me and then I'm off for 2 weeks. So remember anyone who needs to book for September to give me a ring next week.

The end of another busy week of summer grooms.

Well it definitely warmed up this week but with the the dryers on cold and the fans on the salon stayed at a comfortable temperature for working and for all the dogs..
Appointments are now booked up for August except for 1 small dog slot next week. Phone Monday if you would like to book.

A nice selection of dogs but it's been a very strange week for the middle of July. Some very busy days while a couple have been quiet. Probably due to the strange weather we're having.

I've got 5 weeks left until my holidays with maybe a dozen appointments still available. So if you need an appointment before the middle of September please get in touch next week to book.

A lovely assortment of dogs this week including 3 new clients.
It must be quite strange for dogs having to go to a different groomer but I always try to make it as stress free as possible. Hopefully they will all become regulars.
The new collie this afternoon has apparently really struggled in the past but you all know how much I love collie's and he coped well with lots of cuddles.

Super proud of Zac today.
He will be 12 in November but still able to strut his stuff. Getting 5th place in the special collie class at Somerset Obedience Society show.

Not so many photos this week as I seem to have spent half my time chasing owners who have forgotten their appointment and trying to catch up with dogs coming in late.
I know that life sometimes gets in the way but please check and double check your appointments. I cannot afford to be refusing dogs and then having some not turn up. Would you like to go to work and not get paid? 😔

As both Zac and Indi were feeling a bit warm I managed to get them groomed in between client's.

First visit for this little girl this afternoon.
She has been proving quite a handful at home and even at 5 months old had become rather matted.
My only option was to clip her short to get rid of the mat's and she will be back in soon to make sure she's letting her mum brush her properly at home.
Who would believe that sweet face could be a naughty puppy ♥ ♥

IMPORTANT PLEASE READ

Just to remind everyone that due to the ever increasing business costs my prices have risen from the beginning of June.

The increase is between £3 and £6 depending on dog size and coat type.
My price guide is for regular 6/8 week clients who are well maintained at home.

Any dogs who are matted, overgrown or very dirty will be assessed on a dog by dog basis

If you would like a shorter style so that time can be increased between visits please ask. I’m also always happy to give advice on home grooming between visits. It is very important to be using the correct brush for your dog. Please ask for advise.

Also a minimum of 24hr (1 working day) is required (except for an emergency) to cancel/change an appointment or you will be charged.

It's always nice to welcome back clients with a new puppy ♥
This beautiful girl is helping mend a broken heart and her mum and dad are totally besotted already 😍
She is such a good girl and can see the world much better now with a shorter fringe.

It was lovely to welcome 4 new client's this week ☺
It can sometimes be quite stressful for dogs coming to a different groomers but they were all so good 😍
The next couple of weeks is really busy so if anyone needs to change their appointment please give me plenty of notice as I have people waiting for cancellations.

I had the pleasure of meeting this gorgeous pup today 😍
He's going to be a big lad so it's really important that he gets used to the groomers as a youngster.
A very good boy for his first visit and rebooked for 6 weeks time ♥
