The first member of the team…. (And quite possibly the best 🙈)
Little Miss Bonkers aka Doris ❤️
I had the pleasure of breaking her in as a 3/4 year old with many disagreements but we took to the circuit as a lanky naughty 5 year old.
Like her name? She certainly was Bonkers! She always did well but my gosh was she hard work! She’s definitely a gymnast with the bucks and twists she preformed but there was always a hint of her talent to come!
After many years to schooling.. training… lessons.. and of course falls! 2018 was her year and how she did it with style!
Still hot headed but talented she was unstoppable! Placing at all area competitions qualifying us to countless championships and I thought we had finally got somewhere and we was in the way up!!
After storming the season our yard got locked down with strangles and she was in a stable for months!
2019 come and finally it lifted and I jumped back on board!
Feeling like a shaken bottle of pop I was waiting for the explosion! But… what I wasn’t expecting was for her to jump out the area! After parting ways yet again I knew instantly there was coming wrong!
After months of investigation work (and being told to put her to sleep after she attacked me in the stable) we finally had an outcome of severe stomach ulcers ans kissing spine!
I sold my card to aid fund her surgery and countless ulcer treatments but then it was time for rehab! I sent her off as the yard I was in didn’t have the facilities to accommodate her and she deserved the best!
She struggled with memory pain for months but we took it slowly at and her pace and it worked!!
2021 she was back out competing better than ever!
