More urban trailing this evening, amongst the Christmas festivities in the city centre this time! This is such a tricky environment to trail in for both dog and handler, and balancing motivation and trail difficulty for each team is important.
A fabulous opportunity for baby puppy Bilbo to experience such busy spaces while engaging in something fun, that he is familiar with too!

Split trails in the rain for our Tuesday morning teams! Despite the wet being a little less pleasant for the handlers, the dogs weren't phased and it aided their scenting abilities , with all 5 teams correctly identifying their trail layer.

Junctions, junctions and more junctions in an urban space with lots of concrete and tarmac this evening! The wet surfaces helped our dogs navigate a lot this evening, and these teams really demonstrated some superb commitment to working out multi turns on trails.

Trailing on top of the world, high up on the mountain with some off track trailing coming off the path through the scrub - with the added complexity of some large vehicles travelling up the tracks over the top of the laid trails.

Great morning trailing in some quite different terrain and surfaces for these teams - sand - hard going for handlers, and shifting underfoot making ground scenting interesting.
We looked at some scent pool exercises for our main focus, and got some really great results!
