Hi everyone.

Long post incoming!!

Just thought I would share some exciting news. Im expecting a little one in February next year.

It’s been very hard to hide these last couple of months 🤣🤢

I plan to keep working as usual for now, but as grooming is a physically demanding job- and not to mention I’m going to have a big belly in the way! I cannot give any exact dates on when I plan to stop grooming. For now I plan to take each week as it comes.

Unfortunately I will have to stop grooming some doggies altogether. If this does apply to your dog I will let you know and please don’t take this personally. Reasons such as weight (as I have to lift all dogs into the bath) behaviour, or something as simple as how your dog bears their weight during the groom (which can be physically challenging) may mean I need to refer you to another groomer.

I would ask that all customers book their Christmas grooms elsewhere. I won’t be far from my due date by then. And December is when I have in mind for stopping (if it doesn’t happen sooner) It’s a good idea to do this now to avoid disappointment.

I know plenty of lovely, amazing groomers in the area that I am happy to recommend if your not sure where to look. I also am happy to write some notes on your doggies groom, likes and dislikes to pass to your future groomer.

✨Customer announcement ✨

From the 1st of March there will be some changes to the opening hours of The Dog Grooming Garage.

Appointments will be offered three days a week. On Wednesdays, Thursdays and alternate Mondays and Fridays.

As some of you may have noticed I’ve been looking a bit red and sore recently. I seem to be suffering with work related allergies which are making day to day life quite challenging.

This decision wasn’t taken lightly I’m hoping these changes help me get on top of the problem.

Very happy to block book appointments for my regulars to ensure you don’t miss out on your preferred times/days - Let me know and we can sort that for you. Or please do book in advance to avoid disappointment.
