TJ's Dog Hotel Dog Day Care / Boarding - Dogs are walked around Dorset, and they only stay inside our house with us. We offer day care, and boarding both weekdays & weekends.

Friendly home offering love, care and socialisation for your dog. Working from home? You may need some socialisation for your dog as they may not be getting out as much as you'd like - so a day a week here at TJ's would give them everything they need from dogs to play with to a good walk out and about, coming home happy and tired having had a great day out. Going on holiday? Then don't forget to b

ook your dog theirs too, as places are very limited and will go very fast this year. They will stay with us in our home as one of the family during their stay with us

My Story...

... begins with having to place my dogs into a kennel during a holiday and then worrying the whole time I was away. I came back to my dogs that although had been fed and walked, it was me that felt awful - this led me to search for an alternative the next time I went away. That’s when I discovered ‘Home Boarding’.

I had found the answer, the perfect solution, somewhere I could leave my dogs to be treated as a member of the family, having company and cuddles all day long.

What a difference when I went to collect my dogs this time. I was greeted by bouncy, happy and healthy dogs that had had a fabulous time - and that was it, I decided that as I love dogs (having been a dog owner of various breeds for over 30 years), I had found the perfect job for me - TJ’s Dog Hotel was born.

I have worked hard to achieve a Higher Standard 5-star rating awarded by the local council in January 2019 (valid for 3 years) which means that I adhere to the DEFRA rules and regulations and am fully insured with PetPlan. (Both documents are available for viewing upon request.)
