Wooop!! Lane update!

Thanks you very much everyone for all your complaints and support for our lovely bumpy lane. We have finally got permission off Kenfig trust to fix the lane. We need to get 3 quotes for someone to fix it and if you have any suggestions of companies that could help please let us know 😊 let’s get this lane fixed! πŸ‘ŠπŸ₯°

Today 2 years ago we took over Glasfryn Kennels, since then we have looked after so many amazing cats and dogs. Made lots of friends with customers and rehomed lots of lovely doggies to fabulous new homes where they are loved so much πŸ₯° we also work with RSPCA to help more dogs get rehomed 🏠

We have built more places on site for our doggies to explore and almost finished building a brand new cattery with double bays giving them lots of room to run around and all the cats will have underfloor heating to keep them lush and warm.

We have got amazing staff working for us and have been very lucky to have such great support from them and volunteers to make this place the best for the customers and their animals πŸˆπŸ•

Thank you for all your support and here’s to many more years πŸ₯°

Dog massage is so important for your doggies! πŸ’•

Dog massage is so important for your doggies! πŸ’•

My treatment sessions include a gait analysis, discussion of the dogs daily living routine, palpation of the muscles and body, a 30-40 minute massage treatment and then a discussion with the owner about the findings and how the owner can work with me to reduce the risk of injury.

During palpation I’ll feel each individual muscle group for tightness, strains, trigger points (knots), scar tissue and adhesions.
Some dogs are more susceptible to certain injuries than others. For example, the agility dog will suffer tightness and trigger points in their shoulders, back and hamstrings. Furthermore, a pet dog that is able to jump in and out of the car, sofa or stairs will often suffer from the same injuries.

Repetition of training or allowing the dog to regularly carry out the activities above may leave insufficient time for muscles to recover, leading to muscle soreness and muscle injury, if left untreated this can lead to further problems and larger injuries.

For more information about how massage can reduce the risk of injury and improve performance, or to book your dog in for a treatment, message now βœ‰οΈ

Hey everyone, I am just warning you all that out of nowhere we have had a couple of dogs have got kennel cough. There hasn’t been a pattern to provent it as the dogs haven’t even been anywhere near eachother. We are doing everything we can to stop it spreading by super cleaning everything constantly, walking dogs in less pacts, looking out for signs and then putting the dog into isolation if they do some signs (or even cough once to keep an eye on them). If your dog does get it here then we will inform you as soon as and if your dog doesn’t show signs here but does when they get home give us a ring and we will guide you to what to do please πŸ™ you can catch kennel cough anywhere as it’s a airborne virus and some dogs don’t show signs and then spread it to dogs that do show signs. It is a treatable virus that can be gotten rid of and normally takes 2 weeks to full get rid so don’t panic! If you want any infomation on it give us a ring we are here to help πŸ’•πŸΆ

Hey everyone, polite reminder that if you have the kennel cough jab it must be 14 days until you come to us to board! (We don’t require it for boarding!) if it hasn’t been 14 days we will have to turn you away! We are relying on you guys to tell us if they have had it if your regulars. Due to this can customers bring their vaccination cards with you every time please πŸ™
