Twas the final wait for Christmas and the salon is closed
All the dogs has been washed and all been booped on the nose.
We have welcomed some puppies and seen how they’ve grow
We have also sadly said goodbye to some that have gone over the rainbow.
We at Pixies have loved all the chaos that Webster has decided to bring
But now he’s sitting and waiting to hear

Well that’s the Christmas rush all done and dusted!
We would like to thank all or our clients that have chosen us at Pixies to look after their 4 legged friends this year and to everyone that gifted us tips or special little treats this year.

And the pixie’s

They have worked really hard to make every dog look their best
But Webster has caused a scene and made a mess
But to be honest we wouldn’t expect any less

Well he’s messing with all of our equipment for all his joy and pleasure
He mixed up all our blades and changed the length that they measure.

Webster is preparing with his head in a book
Searching for a new style for Christmas day but how good will he look?

They smell so good they’ve attracted a Webster. He’s pouring out all the Shampoos and being a naughty little Mr!
With so many dogs to bathe and dry its not long until we see Santa fly by.
But we think Webster will be on Santa’s naughty list this year and their will be coal in his stocking for his naughtiness we fear…

We are about to plunge ourselves in to Christmas and all that goes with it, including Christmas food…

This is Pixie, and she and her sister Roxy (who is still in the vets) decided to undertake a covert mission in to the kitchen this morning and feast in a packet of mince pies… the packet was up on the kitchen side, and was thought to be out of the way… but no!

This is Pixie after her vet trip… and the black is charcoal paste.

Be aware that the raisins that are found in mince pies (not to mention the alcohol) are highly toxic to dogs and if not treated immediately can be fatal.

Please please make sure your mince pies are safe from your dog… or your dog could be wearing a charcoal moustache for Christmas. (Not to mention the eye watering emergency vet bill).

Nearly all the pooches are looking smart ready for christmas day!

Twas 14 sleeps till christmas and Webster seems to have a been a little quiet…
“Maybe he’s left us for good” said Felicity but Charlotte didn’t buy it.
We looked high and low but he was no where to be found.
With her hands on her hips jasmin let out a sign and frowned.
But in one last chance to find the little bean Meya opened the washing room and exclaimed “oh my gosh! He’s in the washing machine!”

Webster knew that his time was almost up so he had to make the most!
He thought he would do his own spot of decorating so onto a little trouble he soon would be making
A toilet roll in hand he headed to the tree
He thought “what a wonderful masterpiece this will be”
With it thrown into the air with a little flair
He stepped back and smiled
And thought “this will have the team riled”

Who, What and Why?

Hi there, my name is Charlotte, I love all animals, but I am particularly passionate about dogs. I have 2 myself, and therefore as an owner understand there can be challenges and that sometimes in can be hard to find the time to groom the dog, and that is why I created Pixie’s Parlour.

Pixie’s Parlour, is a service providing solutions that meet yours and you dogs individual grooming requirements, I am fully qualified to Level3 in professional dog grooming, insured, pet first aid qualified and DBS Checked.

Our grooming services are completely flexible and can be tailored to fit in around your schedule, where I can come to you and groom your dog from the comfort or familiar surroundings, great for nervous, young, or elderly dogs that may not enjoy the busy environment of a grooming salon, also great for nervous owners, who may not like the idea of leaving their dog in that situation, you can then see me at work and feel rest assured your dog is in safe, calm and kind hands. Or I have a home based salon where I offer a 1 to 1 groom with your dog, where you can leave your dog with me, or you are also welcome to stay and have a tea / coffee and see me at work (we have biscuits!).

In addition to grooming services, I can also offer that little bit of extra help you may need for those situations when time is short, from taking your dog for a walkies, to popping in and checking them when you may need to leave them during the day.
