😲 We can't believe it! 1️⃣ year ago we were meeting the first puppies attending our Puppy 🐶 Confidence Parties 🥳 ❗️

We think the parties have been very successful, do those of you who've attended agree❓️

Step 1 Decompression

Katie's aim for the first 3 days, just leaving him be to find where he was most comfortable.

Dave found interactions/contact with people scary but liked their company sometimes so he was given a safe area and we acted as if he wasn't there, engaging if he seeked us out but otherwise leaving him be.

Meanwhile focusing on finding where he feels most comfortable sleeping, where he can eat and making sure he is not disturbed by other resident pets or people and where he can p*e and poo comfortably.

How long is it recommended to wait before you first walk your new rescue?
