Meet our September puppy 🐶 group! We think they're all adorable 😍
Our 4th puppy the gorgeous River.. is an anxious girl, finding new people and environments unsettling causing her to want to flee 💨.
Through offering her space and time ⏳️ to acclimatise and process, she was able to relax and enjoy her puppy classes😊 and is coming on leaps and bounds with her confidence to interact.
So much so, during her final session she was even brave enough to interact with the other puppies in the group and made positive associations with the other humans too😲.
Here she is using her favourite tool, the scratchboard. Nails will never be an issue for this little lady! 💅🏻
Our 3rd puppy Ozzy had the added bonus of having an already canine savvy pawrent 🤓and she had already begun his learning journey.
Despite this Ozzy found being touched difficult to cope with resulting in excessive mouthing to show his discomfort😖.
While his discomfort of being touched is a work in progress, his pawrent has been provided with lots of tools to help them both overcome this and ensuring he has a voice to be respected👍🗣.
Here is Ozzy demonstrating the start of muzzle training for his final assessment🤩.
"Hurry up mum, the treat, give me the treat!" 😍
George was an anxious puppy when he first started our confidence parties and his pawrents wanted to make sure they got everything right from the off!
He was scared of the unknown and had velcro puppy tendencies towards his Dad.
His confidence started to blossom 🌸 during his 2nd session with us and has gone from strength to strength! 💪.
His pawrents were great at taking our advice and suggestions on board, which helped George with his fears of walking with only one pawrent.
After allowing George time to grow confident in exploring his environment and not rushing 💙 he is now developing into a lovely confident and independent boy.
His pawrents working so hard with him at home🤩 has meant that we saw improvements every time we saw him 🥰
Here he is smashing the Bucket Game with his dad for his final assessment this week 🤩
