Last night the two Bassett Hounds, the lovely Cleo and boisterous Buddy had their trial sleepover. We look forward to seeing them again in August.

We have been made aware of some unlicensed home boarders operating in the Preston area… and worryingly they are getting booked up!

Please please make sure that any home boarder you use is licensed… if they are licensed they MUST display their certificate from their local Council in their home for you to view, and they MUST have their licence number on their website and page… you can check this number with the Council.

If using a boarder who does not hold a licence both your and their insurance will be invalid, they will board as many dogs as they like, they may not have procedures in place to prevent your dog catching a disease or parasites, and you have no guarantee that their premises are safe, clean and secure.

Please do not risk leaving your dog at one of these settings.

Many licensed home boarders get booked up quickly, some at least a year in advance, so book your dog in as soon as you can and be rest assured that your dog will be happy and safe.

Cute miniature schnauzer Audrey has joined the boarding dogs, Murphy, Mabel, Snoop, Molly and Biscuit and has settled in nicely. Also it's been a busy week visiting our Feline furry friends Frog and Daisy. Daisy even came up for a stroke, which is unusual for her, she's normally camera shy 🙀

I know the 2024 holidays have only just started for some of you, but we are getting multiple enquiries for home boarding in 2025, therefore, our 2025 diary is now open!

If you wish for your dog to stay over with us, book early to avoid dissapointment.

Please don't take it personally if we can't board your dog as we are regulated by Preston City Council on how many dogs we can board at any one time.

I’m so sorry as I know there are many owners out there who would love their dogs to home board with us. 🙁 x
