Okay guys
Who knows what an Australian Strippey fish is
You will if you already own one
But to those of you that currently don’t
Let me explain

These amazing guys are the greatest cleaners of nuisance aiptasia pest anemones ever
Once settled in, aiptasia will be gone forever
GUARANTEED
Not only will they provide this fantastic service for us , but they are pretty much considered 99% reef safe
Meaning that your corals are safe from munching unlike a Filefish for example

Peppermint Shrimps may also offer this service but In my thirty experience they need to be hungry as in their natural habitat to do so
As offering nice food for our fish usually is enough to fill their bellies
Which in essence means starving your tank of food which your fish of course may not be too grateful for 😩

Not only will a Stripey eat your Aiptasia
It will greedily accept all food preparations
And on top of that it’s a hardy species
Not prone to disease, bullying or hiding away

In all the ones of which we have sold ( many )
I’ve only received one negative feedback from a specialist coral keeper who mentioned that the Stripey took interest in one of his Acans

But if hungry of course then it may look for another food source , that’s completely natural of course

To summarise

One hell of a fantastic fish to behold in your marine system especially if you are experiencing those little brown stinging pests

We have plenty in stock for now
But babies are becoming short in numbers from our supplier

I’m an honest person so never try to over exaggerate on our stocking levels
As a small retailer I do what I can to offer a good selection in all departments
