When we lost their beloved Boxer two years ago we felt the house was empty, no greeting in the morning, no doggy cuddles, no toys to throw, no canine company on a walk, a
nd having always had a dog, it felt strange to us! We did consider getting another dog but with both of us retired and enjoying the odd holiday abroad (as we all do!) we felt the better option was to look after our friends dogs whist they went away. It was lovely for us to have a dog in the house again and great for our friends who could go away and relax knowing we was caring for their furry friend - it was win, win! Word soon spread amongst our friends, and then friends of friends, and before we knew it we was looking after various breeds, all with their individual personalities. It's important to know that we treat all of the dogs with lots of love and attention, as if they are our own, and I never have more than three dogs (maximum) staying with us at any one time. They have free range of the downstairs of our home, I walk them three, sometimes four times a day, we also have lots of play time, cuddles and some doggy treats too!
