Today was the last show of the year.
Next year will hopefully start early with the Welsh National.
Today we didn’t win but 2nd best cockatiel in show for one of my silvers.
Ruebans bird also win won best junior with another silver.
We took 1st and 2nd in the white faced normal section.
Can’t complain as the best bird in the show won.

So today I went to a smaller local show from what we have been attending over the past few weeks.
These shows and events are just as important as larger events.
Gives the chance to other birds I’ve been training a chance to see how they cope with the challenges of showing.
Done amazing not just with results but I’m more than delighted how younger birds done.
Today we won
Best in show and also best foreign.
2nd in show
3rd in show
Current year bred (delighted with this)
Junior section too.
Lots of people came as event was free so the cockatiels were seen by lots of people.
Met some great people asking about the breed etc.

What a great day and the cockatiel section was the best there with standard and numbers benched. (My opinion)
We managed to win best cockatiel in show.
3rd best in show.
2nd best normal.
1st cinnamon
1st sfds
Cyob normal
Then kid’s birds were the only two juniors but both were excellent.
Absolutely delighted.
The national Cockatiel Association is taking over.

Well that’s all the birds booked in for the Scottish National show tomorrow.
Can’t do anything except wait and see.
Birds have been in show cages even more so we will see.

Stafford show was brilliant fun.
I definitely had a great time and met loads of so many nice people.
Myself and Freya were really happy with the results we got given.
The judge of the cockatiel section Glynn was brilliant and I have definitely learned loads.
Jennifer and Christine’s birds were amazing
We will be back next year with what we have learned
My boy Shankland got best normal white faced.
Then my silvers got 1st in section.
Not too far away from making the top table.
Freya did get best junior and best foreign junior too.
Picked up some crackers to definitely improve my breeding stock.
Thanks to everyone I met and that came to say hello at the National Cockatiel Association table. ❤️❤️

Wee guy was delighted that his wee bird won a rosette yesterday.
Only 1 pet bird there mind but who cares.
As he made the effort to get his travel cage ready for trip.
