I am looking to hire a groom part-time/full-time to help me through the polo season. you will be working along side me with 8 to 10 polo ponies and horses and therefore I require someone with experience. A non-essential requirement is a driving licence but that is more for your convenience and for ease of getting to and from the yard.

The location of the stable and yard is fantastic being situated on the South Downs. You will be close to Brighton and within 90 mins of London by train and / or car.

I play at Knepp and Cowdray most of the time but this can vary.

Highden equine winter grazing

Here at Highden farm we offer beautiful grazing on the hills of the South Downs where we include:

Two daily checks (owner also lives on site)
Constant supply of fresh, clean water
Rug changes/ under rug checks
Worming
Attending with the farrier/vet
Good quality haylage (constant supply when needed)
Poo picking/harrowing
Safe/secure fencing
Field rotation for maintaining grass and wet weather conditions
Stables if required for vet

Pricing starts from £24 per week per horse
