We have had a female white and grey Ragdoll brought into us tonight approximately 12yrs old.
Found in Woodham Walter. Microchipped but unable to get in contact with the owners. If you have any information we would be grateful. We would love to find her owners and get her home. 🐈‍⬛️

No microchip or collar.

Ted just waking up after having Xrays at Purleigh today.

Ted belongs to one of our receptionist who noticed he was having problems with his hind leg.
Good news for Ted is with some extra painrelief and rest he should feel much better.

Its Rabbit Awareness week! 🥕🐰

Healthy diet, happy bunnies.

So what should we be feeding our Bunnies?
Your rabbits’ diet should be 85-90% high quality feeding hay or fresh grass, supplemented with nuggets and fresh greens, as well as fresh water and the occasional treat.

There’s lots of tasty plants and vegetables your rabbits can eat, for example rabbits can eat broccoli, cucumber, dandelion leaves, parsley and curly Kale.

Please DO NOT walk your dogs in the heat but instead walk them early in the morning or later in the evening.
Let's keep our pets cool this summer ☀️

Remember, if it’s too hot for your hands or your bare feet, then it’s too hot for their paw pads! ⚠️

If you’re unsure whether it’s okay to let your pet go for a walk on pavements, a simple way to test the temperature is by holding your bare skin on the tarmac for five seconds ⏱️

If you find it painful, then your pet will find it painful to walk on!

To protect your pet, it’s best to avoid walks during the hottest part of the day, which is usually between 8am and 6pm. If you can't safely exercise your dog, missing a day won't hurt.

We have sadly had a deceased black male cat bought into us this morning at our Althorne surgery. He was found near the water tower on lower Burnham road. He is microchipped but this microchip is unregistered. He is wearing a grey flea collar and his black coat is grey speckled. Please contact us on 01621 784080

Maldon, Althorne and Burnham will be closed all day for the bank holiday.

If you require repeat medication before the bank holiday this will need to be ordered before the end of today as we require 48 hours notice to order and dispense all medications.
