Please be aware the burnham bends are currently closed after Tinkers Hole to the bend just before us.

You will need to divert if coming to us this afternoon so please allow some extra time.

A Domestic Long haired cat was found just down the road from our practice in Purleigh yesterday. Unfortunately he was dead on arrival with no microchip. Please could you contact us if you have any information as we would like to contact his owners.

Please be aware if coming from Burnham to Althorne the road is currently closed along the bends.

The diversion down Tinkers Hole/Green Lane is very busy with large vehicles so please allow extra time if coming to us this afternoon.

Please be aware if you have an appointment at our Maldon surgery this afternoon, the high street will be closed from 12.30pm due to the Christmas Market.
There will be access to get to and from our practice so we can still provide our normal service.

Dengie search and rescue have found a female black and tan terrier in Glendale Road Burnham. She is wearing a pink collar and is microchipped but the phone numbers/address are not helping us find her owner. PROOF OF OWNERSHIP WILL BE REQUIRED. Please get in contact with us or Dengie Search and rescue if you can help us find her owners.

Many of our nurses will be doing a lot of charity events over the next year.

Becca who is one of our Nurses at Maldon and Purleigh will be taking part in the Croatia Mountain Trek in April 2025. She is hoping to raise £3000 and her registered charity is Essex and Herts Air Ambulance. She would be very grateful for the smallest of donations and support.

Ever wondered what happens once you leave your pet with us for the day..... come Inside our Althone practice and meet lovely Alfie who came and spend the day with us. 🐾😍

🐾HELP ME FIND A NEW HOME 🐾 We are looking for a home for this lovely boy. Sadly his owner died and his now looking for a forever retirement home, his approximately 13yrs old, castrated and microchipped although his new owner will need to update these details. He would prefer a home on his own without any other animals and LOVES a cuddle. If you can offer him a home please call our Purleigh surgery and we can arrange a visit.
