These 3 tiny tawny owlets came in last night after they were found on the floor the finder called a local vets and they said they would just euthanise them so they brought them over. Birds of prey require specialist care so these guys went over to wild wings birds of prey centre this morning where they will be hand reared until old enough. X

Wild Wings Birds of Prey

Busy morning! Total of 4 Baby Owlets in.

First from a Gentleman called Chris who found 1 on the ground in Bromley Cross, Bolton. No sign of any others or nest. Vicki collected but this one was cold on arrival and not attempting to eat. So fluids and into incubater to warm up.

While Vicki was collecting this one a call from our lovely friend Patrick who had looked after 3 Owlets over night, eyes not open yet. He and a friend who drives the Animal Ambulance brought them over they were younger than the first Owlet with eyes still closed.

These 4 are probable victims of the strong winds we are experiencing at present. They will be hand reared until able to join the other Owlets in the Tawny crèche.

Thanks to those concerned for helping these little ones.

A bit late. But huge thankyou to Pets At Home Bury for the seed donation it really is going to get us through this difficult few weeks and massive thankyou to Kirsty for dropping off x

The 3 original ducklings are huge now and it won’t be long before we can get them back out into the wild. A huge thanks to sharon for looking after these little ones x

A nest of baby robins came in earlier today 5 in total, unfortunately these guys were disturbed during work being carried out in someone’s garden. Please remember it is an offence to intentionally take, disturb or destroy the nest of any wild bird while it is in use or being built. We understand accidents happen however please ensure you are checking all bushes, trees and shrubs before carrying out any work on them. These little guys had a much higher chance of survival with mum but we will do everything we can to get them back into the wild xx

This male pheasant was brought in by Sheila this evening after being hit by a car unfortunately he isn’t in a good way but I will try my best with him fingers crossed for this little guy 🤞🤞

A member of the public called us to a swan that had crash landed in her garden after a quick check over we found there was no injuries. There was a lake behind the house and to our luck it’s mate was waiting on there for her so it was a very quick rescue release x

Hi guys I decided it was about time to take my rescue work away from my personal Facebook and create a page this way it means the page can be solely about the rescue and my social life doesn’t get mixed in with it. I hope you all like following the rescue work me and my amazing team do and I will update the page as much as I can. Thank you all so much.
