Hi friends let’s talk ✨ HARNESSES ✨

As a dog walker we get multiple queries on which harness we think is the best for your dog.

So why not share with everyone our favourite (and not so favourite) style harnesses

❌ Let’s start with our less favourite type harness
Unfortunately we do not recommend the Julius k9 style no pull harnesses due to the restrictions it has on the dogs body. (see infographic for more details as to why)

❌These style harnesses are Houdini’s best friend 🤣Dogs can easily back out of these harnesses (unfortunately we probably aren’t the only dog walkers/owners who have experienced this)

Anyway onto the ones we do recommend

✅ We recommend most Y or H shaped harnesses

✅When they are fitted correctly they are non restrictive on your dogs body, especially around the front and shoulder areas

✅For dogs that pull you can also get ones that have a front clip that may help (though we recommend consistency with training is the key to help with pulling)

We use the following brands for Y or H shaped harnesses

🐾 Paws and Wrinkles (Arlo is wearing this in the photos)

🐾 Ruffwear (sage wears this)

🐾Bella and Pal

🐾 Pets at home

🐾 You can also find some on Amazon too
