To join the pack walk, is all we ask is for a minimum donation of £10 per family which all goes towards the care & rehabilitation of our rescue dogs.
Tea, coffee & cake will be available at our horsebox cafe after.

⭐️ Boo-boo update ⭐️
Boo-boo did amazing on the ferry and was good as gold even though it was very busy and very noisy !! ( Friday evening ! )
She is now at her new home 🙂 here are a couple of photos of her taking in her new beautiful environment 🐾

Zak…..

Zak was originally from Zakynthos, Greece and was adopted in the UK as a puppy, however Zak was not given any direction/leadership and started to exhibit some bad habits. Zak has been at Dog Trouble for rehabilitation and is now ready for his forever home.
Zak is a submissive, alert and active dog. He loves his walks/cycles and would need an owner who is active and enjoys the outdoors.
Zak enjoys playing with other dogs but needs leadership and direction when approaching new dogs on lead as he gets very excited. He can live with other dogs but is also able to be an only dog. Zak would not be suitable to live with children or cats.
Zak needs an owner who will be his leader and set him up to succeed not fail. You would need the time to continue building his confidence by taking him out and about and would need to be committed to working with us to learn how to continue his rehabilitation.

Name: Scooby
Age: April 2023
Breed: Greek hound X
Gender: Male

History: Scooby had been found hit by a car in Zakynthos, Greece which resulted in him breaking his back leg at the hip joint. He was taken to mainland Greece for surgery where he had a metal plate fitted, which has since been removed following his leg having healed. Scooby was petrified when he was found and would often just sit in a corner facing the wall. Jo met Scooby when she went to visit Healing Paws rescue in Zakynthos and Sue Deeth asked if she would consider taking Scooby into the Dog Trouble foundation rescue-rehab-rehome programme. Scooby arrived in the UK in April and was very shut down. We started his rehab getting him to follow us on a long line in the paddock at first and then after a couple of weeks he was able to join pack walks. Since then he has blossomed and walks really well on a lead with the other dogs. He has started to play with the other dogs and loves a game of chase, playing very respectfully.
Scooby thrives being with other dogs to give him guidance and we are looking for a home where there is another dog for him to continue to learn from. Scooby needs a calm home with a structured lifestyle and someone who will commit to working with us in continuing his rehab. He is growing in confidence quickly but will need further exposure to daily life-walking in public places, noises, cars etc If you have the patience and the time then Scooby will bring you so much joy as he has a beautiful soul and will develop into a cracking dog. Scooby doesn’t need an owner to feel sorry for him, he needs an owner that will show him anything is possible in life given the right direction and support!

We have just learnt that our sweet Buddy has a mass on his splean and needs an urgent operation tomorrow. Unfortunately this operation is going to cost just over £1000 and due to ongoing medical expenses with other rescue dogs, our funds are low 😞

Bernard came to Dog Trouble for Boot Camp to address his anxiety around new people and dogs where he blossomed into a more balanced and trusting dog. Unfortunately even though he has progressed immensely his owners felt that they couldn’t give him the time and fulfilment that he deserves and would like to find a happier home for him. Bernard has lived in a family with a young child and is now more sociable with dogs and people. He is an active dog who loves to go running, walking and play with other dogs
We are looking for a calm, assertive, active owner who can continue to give Bernard the direction and fulfilment he deserves. He is such a great dog in the pack and we would love to find him a home!

Breed: Hound/Collie Mix

History:
Booboo was originally from Zakynthos, Greece and had been in the shelter for a year where she was quite shy. Booboo is now with us to help build her confidence. she loves other dogs and people but is a bit shy when meeting new people. She is learning to relax in a home environment and get used to things like the tv!
Booboo is very gentle and will follow you from behind a lot. She needs the guidance and direction and ideally in a house with another dog where she will respond to the guidance of the other dog. She walks well on a lead by your side or behind you but will need further exposure to walking in different environments.
Booboo would not be suitable to live with young children but will be fine with older, calmer children.
Booboo needs an owner who will continue to provide her with the right guidance as she continues to become a balanced, confident dog. You would need the time to take her out and about to new places and would need to be committed to working with us to learn how to continue her rehabilitation.

Booboo will evolve into a beautiful energy dog!

Wow what a day we all had yesterday !! Thank you to everyone who came to our Funday to support The Dog Trouble Foundation. We hope everyone had as much fun as we did 🐕 ☀️
We will keep posting more photos ( there are quite a few ! ) and will update you with the amount you all helped to raise.

The annual fun day is nearly here !! The weather has blessed us again too ☀️! We will have lots of water stations for your dogs 🐕 . Please note that car parking is at the farm entrance opposite Holme Grange Craft Village and NOT the main Dog Trouble entrance !
We are looking forward to seeing everyone on Sunday !
