180 wolves have been slaughtered in Montana's hunting, trapping, and snaring season. The most recent recorded killing was that of a female, caught in a trap in northwestern MT and left to await her painful death.

These wolves, so carelessly slaughtered, have immense value - to their families, to ecosystems, to people who glory in knowing that wolves are found in wild places.

Our Crawley detectives have seized 10 dogs after carrying out a search warrant at a site in Surrey on Tuesday.

The Rural Crime Team are assisting CID in establishing whether the dogs recovered have been stolen.

As a result a 30-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods and has been released under investigation while further enquiries are carried out.

We will release further details including photos and descriptions of the dogs and how potential owners can contact us within the next day.
