Although a long established practice located on Paisley Road, Renfrew for many years, we are now working from completely rebuilt premises, with our own off street parking facilities, which we have designed for our clients and pets in mind. We strive to make you feel as welcome as possible and aim to treat your pet as an individual and provide your pet with the highest quality care. We have a team

of dedicated and caring staff to care for your individual needs. Consultations are by appointment only, as this allows us to spend time with the client, and saves you from having to wait too long. Any emergencies will, of course, be prioritised, and we promise a same-day appointment for all urgent cases. Our facilities include separate dog and cat wards, isolation kennel, digital x-rays, in-house laboratory, purpose built operating theatre and dental suite. We offer nursing clinics free of charge from dental to weight management. We now have a brand new haematology machine to add to our lab facilities

If your pet comes into contact with any of the below hazards, and is showing worrying symptoms, please contact your vet or your local emergency out of hours vet.

As we approach the festive season, we want to inform you of our Christmas and New Year opening hours.

Please plan your visits accordingly and to ensure your pets are well taken care of during the holidays.
If your furry friends need veterinary attention outside of these hours, please contact the small animal hospital on 0141 330 7690.

For repeat prescriptions:
We will require at least 24hr notice for any repeat prescriptions. Please make sure you are well prepared for the festive season 🎄🎅🐾

Today we had a visit from the amazing Bonnie, Bowie, Jess and Rosie! They were in for their annual vaccinations and we all had the best time getting cuddles and kisses from them. Such well behaved and gorgeous dogs 😍

With Guy Fawkes night approaching tomorrow, many pets may feel anxious and stressed with the upcoming fireworks.🎆🎆
Here's some last minute tips to help you prepare:

⭐️Close any windows or curtains and turn the lights on.
⭐️ Pop on some music or the TV to help tune out the noise.
⭐️Help your pets hide by making a den in their safe place.
⭐️Reassure your pet and give them lots of love and attention.
⭐️ If your pets doesn’t seem worried, then it’s best to keep them busy with their favourite toys, treats or activities so they don’t become anxious.
⭐️Try to stay calm and relaxed yourself. Your pets will pick up on how you’re feeling, so do your best to relax.
⭐️ If your pet does have an accident, refrain from telling them off as this could make it worse.
