Competition Time
Post a picture of your pets looking festive.
The winner will receive a treat pack, the flavours of treats will be Banana and Blueberry, Cheesy bones and Peanut butter bones, if your pets suffer from allergies or joint issues the treat will contain gluten free treats and anti-inflammatory treats. A lovely write up from Sticks & Wellies, a fabulous local business offering doggie daycare, dog boarding and dog walks, thank you.
We were lucky enough to receive some samples from ALF's homemade pet treats.😋 April makes fabulous natural treats for your dog. She also caters for gluten intolerant dogs and will soon be testing out some anti-inflammatory treats for those dogs that may be older and suffer with inflammation, joint pain and arthritis. My dogs absolutely loved the treats and looked rather upset when we ran out ❤️ needless to say we will definitely be placing a bigger order. I fear my dogs will fall out with me if I don't. 😂

Good afternoon everyone, hope you are all having a good weekend.

Update on my homemade treats, I have started to make Gluten free treats which are all homemade with natural ingredients, the flavours for these are cheesy and banana and peanut butter, the ingredients for these are:

Cheesy
Potato Flour, olive oil, honey, water and cheddar cheese

Banana & Peanut butter
Banana, Peanut Butter and Gluten Free Oats

Prices will be out shortly, feel free to contact me if you would like to test the flavours out on your pooches.

I am also testing out some flavours for your pets that have joint issues, these include turmeric and Fish treat, Flaxseed and turmeric doggie treats, the ingredients for these are:

Turmeric and Fish Treat
Oats, turmeric, sardines, w/meal flour, coconut oil, free range eggs and fish stock

Flaxseed and Turmeric Treat
Oats, Flaxseeds, turmeric, water and free range eggs

Prices for these will also be out shortly, feel free to contact me if you would like your pooches to try some testers out.

Update with regard to Advent Calendars, I'm sorry to inform you all, but I feel I need more time to make the calendars so they will be on sale for Christmas 2021, I take pride in what I produce so I would like the time to perfect them, for them to be of excellent quality and to make them cost effect to you my customers.

Cheesy Crunch: Wholemeal Flour, Cheese, Plain Yogurt, Cornmeal

Rabbit Crunch: Oatmeal, Rabbit Pellets, Vegetable Broth, olive oil, honey

Dog Poisoned by the Diffuser
Saturday night I got home late and my dog didn't recognize me. Being a nanny I thought I woke him up and he was having a night terror. Sunday, he was still acting weird. I realized that I had been running my new diffuser and decided to turn it off. Sunday afternoon, he was feeling better.

Today at work, my dog sitter said that he wouldn't come out from under the bed. It was very odd as he is a happy dog.

I came from work early and again, he was very confused about who I was.

So I took him to emergency vet.

It turns out that the tea tree oil I was using in the diffuser is toxic for dogs. Thankfully the test showed that his liver was ok but we weren't out of the woods yet. He was given fluids under his skin to get the toxins out.

The vet and the poison control are saying that they see these cases often now that the popularity of essential oil is growing.

Please make sure that the essential oils you are burning are not toxic for your pets.
